Ureasy coexistence of the state and the Catholic Church in CR

This thesis called "Uneasy coexistence of the state and the Catholic Church in Czech Republic" analyzes the relation between the state and the church in our country and resolves different interpretations of the category "public interest". On the basis of this fact it follows the question - in which way does the Catholic Church contribute to enforcement and realization of public interests in our country. Based on hindsight the thesis analyzes church policy after 1989 and it examines problematic areas Following areas are among the problematic ones: property ratification and funding of churches and religious societies; amendment on freedom of religion and position of churches and religious societies; treaty between the Czech Republic and the Holly See and contracts between churches and religious societies and the Czech Republic. Different actions and resolutions could give rise to better and more effective enforcement and realization of public interests in the Czech Republic provided cooperation between the state and the church is effective.
