Snake Robot Design

Bachelor's thesis deals with design of snake-like robot for planar motion platform. Thesis is divided into two sections. The first part briefly presents basic movements of biological snake, which is followed by a chapter with snake-like robots divided into categories according to the type of their design including characteristics of examples. Design of the robotic snake is described in the second part.

In this paper was tested Bees Algorithm on standard optimalizacion problems Rosenbrock and Rastrigin function. For this test was programmed Java class and Matlab script for implementation Bees algorithm.

The goal of this thesis is to design advanced 3D printer with its aditional axis of rotation inculuding drive design and complete production documentation. Origin of the 3D printing and the most common types of printing are described in the first part of the thesis. The second part is focused on the design, construction and technical solution of the 3D printer with its adition functionality.
