Employee Training and Development in B. Braun Medical s.r.o.

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of employee education and development in B. Braun Medical s.r.o. The aim of this thesis is to describe the internal education and development system including analyzing the employee satisfaction with the setting and practical functioning of this system. There was performed a survey amongst employees of this company in order to gather all the necessary information. The outcomes are suddenly summarized using SWOT analysis. This thesis is divided into two main parts, one part is theoretical and the other one is empirical. The theoretical part describes mainly the processing of company education system and the empirical one explains the reality by way of an example of the analyzed company. The biggest merit of this thesis is to make a suggestion of necessary measures that could lead to improving the current processes concerning employee education and development within the given company.
Regulation of launching medical devices onto the market

This diploma thesis deals with the topic concerning regulation of launching medical devices onto the market with regard to the analysis of key regulatory framework. The aim of the thesis is to find out if the legal framework really fulfils its de lege ferenda objectives. The purpose of this thesis is to confirm or disprove a hypothesis that the regulation of launching medical devices onto the market is sufficient and effective from the point of view of consumer protection and interests of other stakeholders. Secondary aim of this diploma thesis is to confirm or disprove a hypothesis that the harmonization of legal framework in the EU is appropriate and effective. These hypothesis are to a certain extent following up the verification of four essential goals that should be reached by the regulation. One of the key aims is assuring the safety of the products, enabling them to move freely in terms of the internal market of the EU and assuring that the consumer isn't misled when deciding about his optimal situation. Besides that the regulation shouldn't unnecessarily slow down the activities of businesses and inappropriately limit their innovation potential. The diploma thesis has a critical point of view concerning some aspects of this regulation and in the end the author suggests some proposals in order to improve the current practice.
Electronization of public procurement

This bachelor thesis deals with electronic award of public contracts. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the situation about electronization of public procurement. On behalf of the analysis of the entire situation and the legislation, I'll try to find out the reasons of poor use of electronic tools in awarding procedures. Then I try to take a long hard look at the progress concerning the electronization of public procurement and I make efforts to describe the legislation in this field. In the first part, main terms related to the electronization are characterized, I also comment on important strategic documents and legislation. The second part is focused on specific electronic tool which is e-auction which is a tool that helps to choose the best offer made by the contractors. In this part I look into the course of e-auction and I deal with the conditions that are necessary to run an e-auction. In the last chapter, I analyse some awarding processes. The objective of this analysis is to infer partial conclusions about using e-auctions. I also try to recommend how to act in this process and I highlight some points that are good to take into consideration.
