Kuthanová, Valentina ; Stellner, František (advisor) ; Kovář, Martin (referee)
This work puts main emphasis on life and political career of French representative Robert Schuman and his idea of European integration. The thesis analyses the situation after 2nd World War in western Europe. I pursued the question whether the proposal of European Coal and Steel Community could have been approved by French government without the employment of nontraditional process of approbation. The relationship between Robert Schuman and Konrad Adenauer, French Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and German Federal Chancellor, respectively was studied. Their relation highly influenced the progression of French-Germany reconciliation.
