Economic and political consequences of the Munich Agreement

The thesis deals with the topic of the Munich Agreement, which was signed in 1938 in Munich. The author focuses on how this agreement has influenced the subsequent development of Czechoslovakia. The work deals with the historical context which led to the signing of the agreement and the consequent transfer of Czech borderland to Germany. It deals with the political problems, as well as economic. It focuses mainly on the implications of the agreement from the perspective of changes in the structure of industry and the population after the secession of the Sudetenland. The work concludes that this was a key event in the history of the 20th century, which greatly influenced the economy of Czechoslovakia and its inhabitants.
