The impact of facial expressions on 3D face recognition.
Prvé kapitoly skúmajú rôzne techniky 3D modelovania a ich využitie vrátane 3D morfovateľných modelov (3DMM), modelov blendshape a metód založených na neurónových sieťach ako FLAME (Faces Learned with an Articulated Model and Expressions). Práca následne predstavuje nový prístup k rekonštrukcii 3D modelov tvárí z 2D obrázkov a navrhuje hodnotiaci rámec na meranie vplyvu zmien výrazov tváre na rozpoznávanie tváre v 3D. Experimentálne výsledky ukazujú, ako rôzne výrazy, ako napríklad hnev, radosť a strach, ovplyvňujú presnosť rozpoznávania. Zistenia tejto práce prispievajú k hlbšiemu pochopeniu úlohy výrazov tváre v rozpoznávaní tváre v 3D a navrhujú možné zlepšenia na zvýšenie presnosti rozpoznávacích systémov.
Optical signal detection and maesurement of low deflections using the Michelson interferometer
Kováč, Petr ; Hudcová, Lucie (referee) ; Křivák, Petr (advisor)
The dissertation is concerned with the description and utilization of interference of two coherent optical rays. In addition, the conditions of coherence and its connections with the occurance of interference are discussed. Michelson's interferometer is used for the practical utilization of the interference effect. The possibility of measuring relatively small changes is demonstrated - deviation of piezocrystal, measurement of the coherent length of optical source and measurement of the index of refraction of tramsparent materials. The manner of optical coherent detention and its utilization in optical communication systems is indicated. After demonstration of the principle was carried out the measuring of detection of optical signal modified by the external modulator.
Study of MATLAB PDE toolbox usability in mechanics
Kováč, Patrik ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
This thesis deals with the practical usability of the PDE Toolbox in the MATLAB. It brieflydescribes the mathematical fundamentals of solution. The thesis presents the possibilitiesof PDE Toolbox in the creation of the model, geometry, boundary conditions, mesh and displayof results. The PDE Toolbox results from selected tasks from static, modal and transientmechanics and thermomechanics are compared with the analytical solution or with the FEMsimulation from the ANSYS. The main part deals with the evaluation and generalizationof results.
Heat exchanger design
Kováč, Patrik ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a tube heat exchanger for use of the residual flue gas energy for preheating of combustion air. The thesis contains description, categorization and requirements of tube heat exchangers, stoichiometric calculations, design of geometric dimensions, thermal and hydraulic calculation. The main part of the thesis is the analysis of heat exchanger sensitivity to selected parameters and evaluation of results. The thesis contains a design drawing of the designed exchanger.
Evaluation of methods for conceptual design and implementation of service-oriented aplications based on enterprise integration systems
Kováč, Pavol ; Kapová, Lucia (advisor) ; Král, Jaroslav (referee)
Title: Evaluation of methods for conceptual design and implementation of service-oriented applications based on enterprise integration systems. Author: Pavol Kovac Department: Department of Software Engineering Supervisor: Ing. Lucia Kapova Supervisor's e-mail address: lucia.kapova@mff.cuni.cz Abstract: Service-oriented development (SOA) has become commonly used approaches for building large systems. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate of methods for conceptual design and implementation of service-oriented applications based on enterprise integration systems. In more detail, the work should analyze three frameworks for SOA development, implement a case study in these systems and based on the analysis evaluate possibilities of service coordination. The implementation of case study and introduction of steps of SOA development process is expected. Keywords: SOA, ESB, BPM, integration
