Transportation systems in waste management

The aim of the thesis is to elaborate on transport systems in waste management as they represent a key part of the waste management process. Its theoretical part covers legislation in waste management and sorts and systems of household waste collection. In the practical part there are commercially used vehicles chosen out and the fixed costs of their operation determined. Based on operation data, average velocities in an out of urban areas are calculated. As an outcome of a waste transport prices software, the influence of transport distance and waste mass are described, taking the average velocities into account.

Possibilities of procedures for monument restoration on the example of the pilgrimage site in Horní Police

The thesis deals with the introduction of methods used in the repairs of historical and listed buildings, focusing on timber and masonry load-bearing structures. The text describes the causes and types of structural defects, as well as possible ways of rehabilitation and is also supplemented by examples of their use in practice. This should create a sample book to show which options can be selected and what needs to be considered when restoring individual elements, so that the whole process of repairs is in accordance with the principles of monument care. Possible approaches and methods of reconstruction process of listed building are then demonstrated in the ongoing overall renovation of the pilgrimage site in Horní Police, which is a national cultural monument. The work focuses on the individual buildings of the complex, the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, the ambit that surrounds it and the entrance tower with a bell tower. The author also presents the history and description of the place of pilgrimage. Selected churches of Jan Václav Kosch in Děčín region from the monument care point of view

This bachelor thesis is focused on three late Baroque churches in the Děčín region from the heritage conservation point of view. Namely the church of St. Wenceslaus in Děčín Rozbělesy, the church of St. Francis Xavier in Děčín Bělá and the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Arnoltice. All three buildings are connected with the name of the regional builder Jan Václav Kosch, whose life and work are briefly discussed in the first chapter. Following are the treatises on individual buildings. For each of them, its history and description are presented, and its current status and the possibilities for future modifications and repairs are evaluated. The aim of the thesis is to draw attention to the poor status of significant regional monuments and to outline possible steps for their renewal.
