The bachelor thesis focuses on the design and implementation of automation of reporting processes at TEDOM Energie using Business Intelligence (BI) tools. The aim is to increase the efficiency of data processing and the speed of decision-making processes through modern BI technologies. The thesis analyzes the current state of the reporting system, identifies key issues, and proposes solutions to overcome them. It includes theoretical foundations such as the basic principles and components of BI, and a practical part, which deals with the selection and implementation of suitable BI tools and technologies. The result of the thesis is a design that was implemented and subsequently evaluated in terms of data processing efficiency and accuracy. The work demonstrates how BI tools, especially Microsoft Power BI, can transform processes in an organization and contribute to a better understanding and utilization of corporate data for strategic decision-making.

The database is created in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and its main objective is to eliminate the need to perform routine administrative activities and to make the work of the hospital staff more efficient. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical background that is necessary for a proper understanding of the problem addressed. The second part analyses the current state of the discussed problem. The third part contains a proposal of solutions for the given problems, which have been defined on the basis of the current state of the hospital.
