Acoustical detection of gunshots in the open
Hrabina, Martin ; Tučková, Jana (referee) ; Sigmund, Milan (advisor)
This work is concerned with gunshot detection and recognition. Contains overview of published works and methods used in this field. Furthermore, it lists several commercial gunshot detectors. Binary gunshot detection and recognition algorithm is proposed which discriminates between gunshot and non-gunshot sounds occuring in nature. Algorithm is tested in Matlab. Proposed algorithm is implemented in TMS320C6713 digital signal processor, achieved results are compared.
Remote switching of electrical appliances by the mobile phone
Hrabina, Martin ; Boleček, Libor (referee) ; Říčný, Václav (advisor)
The concern of this work is GSM remote control. First part is summary of requirements and possible solutions of given problem, discussing their complexity and tolerance against interference and unauthorized switching. Also, in the first part, there is selected one solution which is discussed in detail. Second part of the work consists of theoretical and circuitry design of GSM remote switch itself. End of this work is dedicated to the construction of whole device and checking its functionality.
The Delivery of the Mixture Containing Abrasive Particles.
Hrabina, Martin ; Sluše, Jan (referee) ; Štigler, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is focused on description of the transport equipment parts used in some industries for delivering of the mixture containing abrasive particles. The thesis is divided into some captures. Each of them deals with the transport issues. The first part of the thesis is focused on the flow of liquid in transport equipment. Second part describes particular parts of pumps and compares various kinds of them, highlighting their advantages. One of the significant topics of the thesis is the characterisation of pipeline using for the above mentioned transport.
DEVELOPMENT OF ALGORITHMS FOR GUNSHOT DETECTION
Realization of laboratory exercise using the ZigBee system
König, Petr ; Hrabina, Martin (referee) ; Miloš, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis includes ZigBee layer architecture mainly Physical Layer (PHY) and Media Access Controlv Layer (MAC). It demonstrates their parameters in practical realization. Main part of the thesis is a creation of laboratory measurement protocol using development kit of Jennic company. Students will be familiar with ZigBee standard due to this laboratory exercise
Modernization of evaluation of the stored in-flight data
Koníček, Roman ; Hrabina, Martin (referee) ; Sigmund, Milan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the types of on-board registrars and on-board tape recorders used in the Air Force of the Czech Republic. Short research deals with the history of their development in the army. Above all, it focuses on acquiring and processing data from the current on-board P-503B deck. There are described the methods of single channel cleaning of acquired audio signal by nonlinear spectral subtraction and wavelet transform. The quality of filtered recordings was evaluated by subjective method. Further on, a speech detector working on the principle of spectral distance measurement is described. The last chapter deals with the solution of time synchronization of flight data and voice recording. Finally, the possibilities and use of the proposed program are assessed.
Renovation of tools steels for cold forming
Hrabina, Martin ; Mrňa, Libor (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
Master’s thesis “Revovation of tools steels for cold forming“ characterizes wear resistant welds for tool steels. The thesis is dividend into two main chapters. The first chapter of the thesis is focused on the theory of wear for cold work steels. The theory is combined with an experimental chapter. The experimental part describes particular materials and technology for welding. The conclusion of the thesis is evaluated results of test for mentioned technology and welding conditions.
