The Benefits of a Coaching Training

The diploma thesis deals with the subject of coaching and coaching training. The aim of this work is to analyze benefits of coaching and benefits of a coaching training. The study is firstly focused on historical evolution of coaching, its main objectives, principles and coach competencies. Then it focuses on benefits of coaching and its utilization. It also describes specifics of coaching training, structure and its benefits. The study includes empirical research exploring benefits of coaching training. The aim of the empirical research is to identify the benefits of coaching training from the participant's perspective. The attention is paid to subjective impression of coaching training and perceived transformation in life of participants caused by participating in coaching training. Qualitative research is conducted in the form of semi-structured interviews with nine participants of the coaching training after they completed the training. Second round of the interviews is performed after six months from the previous one. The outcomes from the first and second interviews are compared.
