Production technology for a vacuum pump component
Horák, Adam ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the design of a new or alternative technology for the component of the orbital scroll wheel 10i for the vacuum pump nXDS10i. The component is made of an aluminum alloy. The aim is to transition to a higher level of automation compared to the original technology, with the implementation of High-Speed Cutting (HSC) machining. The thesis includes an introduction and analysis of the component, including information about the alloy used, an analysis of the original technology, and its variants for optimization. This is followed by the proposal of a new technology and automation design, meeting the conditions set by the manufacturer of the component. The proposal of the new technology includes the design of a new technological process and clamping method. The thesis also includes a technical and economic evaluation of the original technology, the optimized original technology, and the new technology.
Aproximace doby výpočtu distribuovaných úloh pro lámání hesel
Jadrná, Lucie ; Horák, Adam (referee) ; Hranický, Radek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on improving the accuracy of password cracking time estimation in the distributed system Fitcrack. Based on the analysis of the current solution, key factors influencing the accuracy of computation were identified, and a set of algorithms was proposed to refine the estimation. Conducted experiments confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms, with the new solution bringing significant improvement in the accuracy of cracking time estimation in 90.32 % of measured tasks, including brute-force attack, dictionary attack, combination attack and hybrid attacks.
Automated planning of password cracking tasks
Brandšteter, David ; Horák, Adam (referee) ; Hranický, Radek (advisor)
This thesis aims to design and implement an extension module for the Fitcrack system. The extension is meant to help the user who is time-limited and can’t or is unable to estimate the duration of the attack. The extension is also helpful for the user who does not want to spend time setting up individual attacks. It is an automated scheduler that, based on a given time, creates several attacks, whose duration will correspond to the time required by the user. The planner’s output is a prepared set of attacks in the form of a batch, ready for use. Later in this thesis, there are described experiments that were used to verify the applicability of the solution.
Optimalizace vysoce náročných úloh v systému Fitcrack
Dacík, Ondřej ; Horák, Adam (referee) ; Hranický, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and implement optimizations for Fitcrack, a distributed password cracking tool. First, a set of computational tasks was created on which computation time and CPU utilization were measured. Problematic areas of the tool were then identified from the results, for which modifications were proposed and implemented to increase the cracking efficiency by a more appropriate task distribution and reduced communication overhead. They concern work with a large number of masks and password mangling rules, optional benchmark skipping and sharing cracked hashes across jobs. The benefit of these changes is finally shown in experiments where the modified version of the tool is compared with the original version. For jobs with a large number of masks, speedups of up to 37 % were achieved, and for the combination of a small dictionary, many rules and computationally intensive hashes, it was possible to reduce the duration of jobs by up to 180 times compared to the original version of the tool.
Design of an Information System Part for Project Management Support
Horák, Adam ; Stašík, Peter (referee) ; Neuwirth, Bernard (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is aimed at improving the information system of INTERDEKOR s.r.o. based in Horní Těrlicko. The main focus is laid on the ways of easing the process of order evidence that is done by projectants. Firstly, I will get familiar with the TurboCad project environment. Secondly, I will suggest changes that should result in saving the time projectants spend on administrative matters. The above-mentioned changes might enable them to focus fully on their primary work, which is project-making. Last but not the least, I will deal with simplifying the process of price bid creation. This simplification should shorten the time needed for accomplishing this task.
Administration of Computing Tasks in Fitcrack System
Horák, Adam ; Zobal, Lukáš (referee) ; Hranický, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and implement extensions for the Fitcrack system management application. The system is used to crack hashes and recover passwords from encrypted files. It works by distributing computation tasks across multiple computers and includes many configuration options. The extensions outlined in this thesis are meant to aid the user in creating and working with jobs in the system. These include grouping jobs, batch running, and exporting to a file.
Malicious Domain Detection from External Data Sources
Horák, Adam ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Hranický, Radek (advisor)
This thesis presents a study on the development of a malicious domain detection system based on external data sources. The research examines suitable domain lists for the task, available domain data sources, and the information they provide. The thesis presents a comprehensive analysis of feature selection methods and evaluates their effectiveness in building an accurate classifier. The resulting model is both effective and fast, making it suitable for practical use. The thesis concludes that the proposed approach offers a promising solution for detecting malicious domains in real-world scenarios.
