Title of bachelor thesis: The Role of Occupational Therapist in Addictology Abstract of bachelor thesis: This bachelor's thesis is concerned with methods of occupational therapists and their work with patients who suffer for substance use. The first aim of this thesis is to find the role of occupational therapist in work with an addiction in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first theoretical part defines addiction with dependence factors, system of an addiction care, relationship between occupational therapy and addictology, role of occupational therapist in a multidisciplinary team and possibilities of intervention that occupational therapists have in work with these patients. The second part includes analysis of 4 interviews with occupational therapists who are based in Czech Republic in different facility and who work with patients with addition. The interview contained a general chapter characterizing the facility, patients, an occupational therapist's practice; further defining the general role of the occupational therapist in addictology; the role of an occupational therapist in a multidisciplinary team; occupational therapy methods, standardized tests...
