Zhodnocení trendu vývoje struktury plodin v ČR
Hůserek, Martin
The work is focused on analysing the development of crop structure after 1989 at the level of regions and the whole Czech Republic. The data of the Czech Statistical Office were used. The structure of grown crops on 36 farms was analysed based on questionnaire survey. It was proved that the sowing area in CR has decreased (by 8 % of arable land) as well as the species diversity of grown crops. In individual regions with specific soil-climatic conditions, similar unfavourable trends were observed. At farm levels, the percentage of oilseed rape and maize is increasing in dependence on the increase of the farm area; in maize it is only up to the farm area of about 1 500 ha. An opposite trend occurs in wheat and barley, the area of grown barley decreases only up to the farm area of about 2 000 ha, then the percentage increases. Mainly small farms (smaller than 500 ha) are characterised by the narrow structure of crops, they grow primarily wheat, barley and oilseed rape.
