Present Male Spirituality -The Concept of Richard Rohr
Knězů, Vojtěch ; Lachman, Jan (advisor) ; Glogar, Petr (referee)
Uncertainty of the world, pressure of the consuming society, inappropriate emphasis on success, and other factors lead many western people to the sense of meaninglessness. It is also evident from life of men who are not able to bear the responsibility for their deeds, brign up the children and share life experience. Their true self is often overwhelmed by pursuit of power, prestige or property. Present male spirituality tries to grasp these problems. The aim of this work is to introduce the themes of this spiritual movenment: the need for rituals, fatherhood, relationships of women and men, need for contemplation and related social action. The heterogeneity of the themes determines overlapping of this work with other theological disciplines such as biblical theology, psychology of religion and religious studies. The choice of the themes and the general point of view on the male spirituality stems from the concept of Richard Rohr, an American Franciscan, who is the leading personality of the recent male spiritual movement. Strength, elasticity, and fracture of composites with pyrolysed matrices based on methylsiloxane resins with optimized ratio of “T” and “D” components
Černý, Martin ; Žaloudková, Margit ; Glogar, Petr ; Sucharda, Zbyněk ; Strachota, Adam ; Chlup, Zdeněk
The investigated composites reinforced with Nextel720 fibers reveal acceptable mechanical properties for applications exposed to temperature up to 1300 °C. Mechanical properties were studied after three-hour exposition at 1300, 1400 and 1500 °C without a protective atmosphere. This temperature treatment increases the mechanical strength up to 15 %.
Brittle behaviour of composites with basalt fibres after exposition in hot air
Glogar, Petr ; Černý, Martin ; Sucharda, Zbyněk
Composites with matrix from partially pyrolysed polysiloxane resin and continuous basalt fibres become brittle after exposition to air at 650-750°C. One of possible reasons is a structural transformation of the fibres connected with formation at these temperatures of crystalline phases.
Mechanical properties of a fabric reinforced carbon-carbon composite
Starý, V. ; Černý, Martin ; Glogar, Petr ; Houška, L. ; Kotek, Jiří ; Nevoralová, M.
Mechanical properties of plain weave, twill and satin reinforced carbon-carbon composites were investigated in dependence of their heat treatment temperature and impregnation.
Measurement of elastic constants of orthotropic C-C composite plates by resonant frequency method
Černý, Martin ; Glogar, Petr
A method was developed for determination of elastic constants of textile composite materials based on measurement of resonant frequencies of longitudinal and transversal vibrations of Timoshenko's beam.
Young's modulus of heat-resistant fibrous composites at elevated temperatures
Černý, Martin ; Glogar, Petr ; Nekoksa, Pavel
Elastic behaviour of unidirectional composites with matrix derived from cured polysiloxanes and reinforced with SiC (Nicalon) or alumina (Nextel) fibres was measured at temperatures up to 1300řC in order to assess limits of their potential utilization as structural material in air environment.
