We've lost water. We've lost natural contact with it. Thanks to climate change, we find ourselves in a situation where we either have too much water - flash floods and melting snow, or we have a shortage during increasingly frequent droughts. Solutions are nowhere in sight. We're borrowing water from underground reserves and not planning to repay it. And yet, when it does rain, the water slips through our fingers straight out of the cities. Go away! It is necessary to reintegrate water into the everyday functioning of the city, perceive it as a fundamental part equivalent to any other infrastructure, such as greenery. Greenery = bluery. It is necessary to retain water in place. More water won't just appear, drinking water is scarce, so it's not only reasonable but crucial for our future to preserve at least a drop or two. Visible with the invisible. Visible surface flags, imaginary cherries on the technological cake in the form of underground cathedrals or banks. Aqua bank.

Terraforming mars by autonomous robotic building system, inspired by social insect. Idea design of robotic solution, their transportation and software. Design of structures builded by robots and their function. Pyramidal structures interwoven with ice tunnel, heat the atmosphere of Mars and accumulate heat in their mass. These structures are built with cheap and simple robots that mimic the behavior of social insects.

Teraformace Marsu

Osídlení Marsu je pro lidstvo existenčně důležitý úkol, a ve stejné míře důležitý i ve smyslu poznání, je prvím krokem člověka mimo náš planetární systém. Celá problematika osídlení Marsu se skládá z mnoha problémů již vyřešených, řešitelných a zatím neznámých. Jak v jednotlivých problémech, tak v celém plánu osídlení, existuje nepřeberné množství řešení, ale dají se shrnout do tří hlavních skupin úkolů: dostat lidi na Mars, udržet se na Marsu na živu, udělat z Marsu planetu obyvatelnou pro člověka. Třetí ze tří hlavních skupin úkolů je nejzajímavější, časově nejnáročnější, ale, i když se to nezdá, principiálně nejjednodušší. V principu tohoto úkolu jde o to, ohřát Mars, čímž se odstartuje řetězec procesů, které povedou k obnovení husté atmosféry, dále je třeba přidat život, pokud tam už není, a ten se během následujících 100 000 let (±10 %) postará o dýchatelnou atmosféru pro člověka. S ohříváním planety má lidstvo čerstvé zkušenosti a zatím se zdá, že to umí velmi dobře. Zbývají otázky k vážné diskuzi: Jestli do tohoto procesu zasahovat. Když zasahovat, tak jak? Urychlit, tento proces? Jak ho provázat s lidskou přítomností? V této práci předpokládám, že jsme se rozhodli pro kolonizaci Marsu a jeho teraformaci. Cílem této práce bylo navrhnout autonomní systém, který bude založený na místních zdrojích a minimálně závislý na importu ze Země. Tento systém bude založen na existujících, nebo v blízké době vyvinutelných technologiích. V porovnání s konkurenčními postupy by měl být šetrný k prostředí, slučitelný se souběžnou kolonizací a méně závislý na zásobování ze Země.
