Unemployment and employment policy in Prag - west with special attention to people with disabilities

The thesis deals with unemployment and employment policy in general and in the Prague- West region. Particular attention is paid to the issue of unemployment of persons with disabilities - in all regions of the Czech Republic these persons have lower chances of employment, I suppose that in the Prague-West region, although it is one of the regions with the lowest unemployment rate in the Czech Republic, this situation will be the same. The aim of the thesis is to describe the development of unemployment and the development of unemployment among people with disabilities in Prague-West in the years 2006 - 2016 and describe the employment policy in general and in the mentioned region. The labor market in the Prague-West region is significantly influenced by the proximity of the capital city of Prague. At the beginning of the period under review, the situation on the labor market was stabilized and there were no major fluctuations. Unemployment was low in 2006 - 2008, the situation changed with the arrival of the economic crisis in 2009, unemployment increased and increased in the following years, from 2015 until the end of the monitored period unemployment in Prague-West started to decline.
