An early mediaeval cementery by Mlékojedy whittin his regional context
Derner, Kryštof ; Štefan, Ivo (advisor) ; Tomková, Kateřina (referee)
The basis of the presented thesis is a description of an early mediaeval burial ground in Mlékojedy "Nad hřbitovem", which was discovered in the year 2007. Based on the grave goods, it is dated back from the beginnig of the 10th to the half of the 11th century. The relation of the grave goods to anthropological attributes of burried individuals shows namely an increase in ratio of equipped graves up to an early adulthood and then its gradual reduction. The arrangement of a grave was dependent on dating. The grave with an elite female gariture and the grave with weapons are compared with the similar ones discovered in hinterland of the Litoměřice fortification. A regular positioning of burial grounds on the left bank of the river Labe as early as at the beginning of the 10th century shows an early settlement of this area and allows to dicover the extent of the Litoměřice agglomeration. The author of this thesis proposes, that a simultaneous abandoning of the both known burial grounds in the Mlekojedy estates is an evidence for a transfer of the burial grounds closer to a sanctuary located in the center of the contemporary village. Key words Burial ground, early mediaeval, Mlékojedy, Litoměřice distr., 10th. century, 11th. century, earrings, weapons, social topography, history of settlement,...

The methodology is divided into three basic areas of the cognitive process of sacral architecture, which differ according to the nature of the studied sources. I. Problems of knowledge of sacral architecture on the basis of written, cartographic and pictorial sources. II. Sacral architecture in terms of material sources of archaeological nature (artifacts, ecofacts and their finds). III. Sacral architecture on the basis of material sources of a building nature, examined by a building historical survey. These areas are accompanied by subchapters devoted to other methods, other cognitive and documentation processes. A necessary part are also small excursion chapters, in which specific examples from research practice are described.

High mediaeval mining settlemens, focused on site Kremsiger (Přísečnice district).
Derner, Kryštof ; Hrubý, Petr (advisor) ; Schwabenicky, Wolfgang (referee)
(in English): The issue is focused on the survey and dig on the mining settlement Kremsiger in Ore Mountain. We discovered well planed and perhaps measured urbanism of the site. Our excavation took luckily place on the house with traces of ore assaing activity. In the issue we discuss the possibility of ore smelting directly on the mining settlements. We found out, that this activity is not exceptional, although there is no evident reason for avoiding the smelting in central smelting places. Second, the excavation brought the biggest assemblage of high mediaeval ceramic. Its analysis pointed out, that the settlement lived through two different ceramic horizonts, and due to this fact was not extremely short-living place as could be expected by mining settlement generally. Despite some exclusive finds as hollow glas, or the urbanism, we neglect the possibility of township of the site. There is no evidence for growth of mining settlement in such vicinity as by Kremsiger and the mediaeval Town Přísečnice.
