Optimization of preparations for pressing the FRL product
Štrejbar, Vojtěch ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with optimization of pressing preparations for the production of fuel return line (FRL) in the company Bosch Powertrain s. r. o. The optimization means mainly reducing the risk of damage to FRL components and hoses. An analysis of the pressing preparations used in the production was carried out. Based on the analysis, modifications to existing preparations of semi-automatic stations were recommended. The thesis further focused on new design of preparations on automatic station. The aim of the design was to improve clamping of a FRL component, namely a specific connector. This connector has shape, which makes it difficult to ensure correct clamping. For clamping, it is problematic to meet two requirements, namely preventing change of the connector position during pressing and preventing damage to the edges of the connector. Considering the limiting conditions, several solution variants were designed, and the best variant was selected using evaluation criteria. This variant is further developed, including a 3D model and drawing documentation. The main modification is the new design of the clamping jaws.
