This bachelor thesis deals with product liability insurance. The theoretical part describes the legislative regulation of liability for deflective products, the basic principles and division of liability insurance. Next, basic scope of product liability insurance, exclusions and extended coverage options are defined. The practical part compares offers of product liability insurance of selected insurance companies operating on the Czech market and gives examples of insured events.

Their real impact on progress of company, afterwards valuation gained finding and formation of the offer, which will make improvement of situation at the market for the next season.

The title of my thesis is "Risk management as a tool for commercial risk insurance management in an insurance company" in which risk management in commercial risk insurance is discussed with an emphasis on natural hazards insurance, especially the risk of fire. The thesis deals with the possibility of a positive impact on the loss ratio of an insurance company by working with a business case from its acceptance to insurance, through measures to extend the scope of insurance to the evaluation of the proposed measures.
