Tendinopathy of the Achilles' heel as effect of functional disorder of thelocomotive system
Mostecká, Dagmar ; Smékal, David (advisor) ; Čakrt, Ondřej (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the Achilles tendinopathy, and particularly with its etiopatogenetics. The theoretical part includes information about the Achilles tendon, tendinopathy of Achilles tendon and a summary of dysfunctions of the locomotor system. We assumed that the dysfunction of the locomotor system is the main etiopatogenetic factor of the Achilles tendinopathy, and that it results in changes of its position and loading. In the practical part we tried to reveal these dysfunctions by examination of seven patients, and to prove its main etiopatogenetic influence by a successfull therapy. The aim of the thesis was to point out the importance of the examination as well as the therapy of the locomotor systems function. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
The use of physiotherapeutic means in some types of tinnitus
Housová, Barbora ; Procházka, Miroslav (advisor) ; Smékal, David (referee)
This thesis is an update of the bachelor work entitled "The application of physiotherapeutic tools for some tinnitus types". The original work was complemented with the latest findings in pathogenesis field and in therapy by physiotherapeutic tool. The fundamental of this diploma thesis is a study examining the quality of patients' lives with tinnitus. The study was based upon a research using a modified questionnaire Tinnitus Handicap Inventory by Newman's et. al. (1999). Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Luminance error correction of high definition LED screens.
Komloši, Michal ; Smékal, David (referee) ; Olejár, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes and offers possible software solution of luminance errors, that are made on HD LED screens due to the temperature dependence of LED cabinets, which the LED screens are consist of.
Generating of flood attacks
Hudec, David ; Hajný, Jan (referee) ; Smékal, David (advisor)
The assessment comprises of two parts, describing theory and generating of flood attacks respectively. The first part covers flood attacks' analysis, deals with their available techniques and practices, known in the area, and a computer simulation program, revealing the behavior of a contested network as well as the attacker's procedure. In the following part, data generating solutions itself are described. These are represented by two hardware programs, adapted from existing solutions, and one C# application, created by the author. The comparison of these two approaches is included, as well as are the generation results and mitigation proposal.
Detection of registration number for surveillance systems
Smékal, David ; Atassi, Hicham (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deal with teoretic image processing and computer vision, detection license plate. There are include some methods segmentation image for example filtration noise, detection edge, thresholding. Researched presence of licence plate in the picture.
Localization of interesting points in power analysis
Vaněk, Stanislav ; Smékal, David (referee) ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
Nowadays there are very high demands on security of cryptographic devices due to the increasing number of exploitation. Because of these reasons it is necesary to know the principles of security and their flaws. This thesis deals with the method of localization of interesting markers in current analysis. The aim of the thesis is to analyze this methods and their potential implementation in practise.

Protection of highspeed communication systems
Smékal, David ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hajný, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with 128–bit AES data encryption and its implementation in FPGA network card using VHDL programming language. The theoretical part explains AES encryption and decryption, its individual steps and operating modes. Further was described the VHDL programming language, development environment Vivado, FPGA network card Combo–80G and configurable framework NetCOPE. The practical part is the implementation of AES–128 in VHDL. A simulation was used to eliminate errors, then the synthesis was performed. These steps were made using Vivado software. Last step of practical part was testing of synthesized firmware on COMBO–80G card. Total of 4 projects were implemented in FPGA card. Two of them were AES encryption and decryption with ECB mode and another two describe the encryption and decryption with CBC mode.
Podcasting as a new part of the marketing communication mix in the Czech Republic and Germany
Smékal, David
This thesis deals with the phenomenon of "podcasting" and the possibility of its business use. It covers and combines some selected aspects such as communica-tion trends, psychological aspects, and the marketing communication mix. There development of podcasting its current state is also considered. The general data come from the United States, while the dataset for the practical part has been tak-en from a public survey in the Czech Republic and Germany and a business survey of 315 Czech companies. The outcome answers whether podcasting is applicable as a new method for business communication, especially in the Czech Republic, and which segments of the Czech and German population are more suitable for this medium. Companies were tested on their current needs, challenges, communica-tion approaches and internal capacities towards podcasting integration. Finally some proposals on future challenges and developments are provided.
