Modern approaches to maintenance in engineering practice
Jiroušek, Lukáš ; Konečný, Antonín (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
The thesis deals with maintenance and implementation of modern maintenance approaches in engineering practice. The present thesis focuses on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). The first part of the thesis defines the general characteristics of maintenance, its division, including an analysis of maintenance types. In the context of maintenance according to the technical condition, the methods of technical diagnostics such as vibrodiagnostics, thermodiagnostics, tribodiagnostics and acoustic diagnostics are also introduced. The second part of the thesis focuses on the philosophy and description of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) including the individual pillars and the evaluation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The third part deals with the actual practical implementation of TPM at Schaeffler Production CZ s.r.o, with emphasis on autonomous maintenance, e-maintenance and the 7S concept. The final part of the thesis summarizes the benefits and advantages that can be observed by implementing the TPM method in Schaeffler Production CZ s.r.o.
Environmental Sensor for succulent plants
Horčička, Vít ; Hammer, Miloš (referee) ; Šoustek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to perform a research in the field of environmental sensors for plants, to get acquainted with the Arduino platform and to create a custom sensor design for plant care. The proposed solution is capable of monitoring ambient air temperature and humidity, soil moisture and light intensity. The measured values, along with the battery voltage, are sent via Wi-Fi to the InfluxDB database to be displayed in the Grafana environment.
Reengineering of the maintenance system of variable speed drives using multi-parameter diagnostics
Nahodil, Petr ; Helebrant, František (referee) ; Pačaiová, Hana (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
The work is focused on multiparametric diagnostics, which is an important part of machine and equipment maintenance today. It deals with the use of fields such as vibrodiagnostics, electrodiagnostics, thermodiagnostics, tribodiagnostics, assembly and optical measurements as well as other diagnostic methods in order to obtain a complete picture of the monitored devices. The work also discusses the modern procedure of using multiparametric diagnostics to identify the causes of problems and define appropriate measures in the framework of maintenance. The dissertation is based specifically on the implementation of multiparametric diagnostics in the operability of drives with variable speeds and justifies the necessary reengineering of the maintenance system for these devices. The given maintenance system will clearly require a change in the inspection activity primarily in terms of quality, but certainly also quantitative verification and validation of the measured data in situ, an adequate change in the documentation processed by the manufacturer, or by the supplier, conducted by the user, etc. The work itself is based on the basic idea that if I can measure and diagnose something, then I can declare that I know something about it.
Automation of family houses (smart home system)
Koníček, Tomáš ; Nahodil, Petr (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis addressed the issue of smart home technology. The aim was to create researches of existing smart home control systems, generaly describe the individual parts and their funcions and choose one control systém which will be described more in depth. We weill also lay down a real situation draft of smart home aplication. The chosen systém is american systém Crestron. The thesis i salso about a comunication protocols ordinarily used in smart homes. At the end we will also discuss an economical viewpoint of smart homes followed by recommendation and conclusion.
House wiring
Pospíšil, Filip ; Nahodil, Petr (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis addressed the issue of home wiring. The aim was to select the electrical installation, describe its properties and analyze the design in a specific building. An electrical installation, with intelligent home elements from HDL Automation Ltd. Company, was chosen, namely the HDL Buspro system. The work was based on the currently valid legislation, the method of connecting a family house to the distribution network and the design of electrical installations. The thesis is supplemented by some electro technical and economic calculations, followed by an evaluation, discussion and conclusion.
Methods of specification of cyberphysical systems
Junek, Martin ; Hammer, Miloš (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse the advantages and disadvantages of different types of description of cyberphysical systems. It also concerns a description of the selected method that meets most of the current requirements for CPS design. In the practical part, attention is paid to the elaboration of an example for the specification of a selected cyberphysical system.
Proposal of Methodology for Reliability of Operation and Optimization of Rotary Machines Maintenance
Řezníčková, Hana ; Helebrant, František (referee) ; Pačaiová, Hana (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
The presented doctoral thesis is focused on solving reliability of operation and optimization of maintenance of rotary machines. In the theoretical part, the RCM method is analyzed in detail including several available modifications of this method. Furthermore, the most commonly used methods of technical diagnostics are presented. The practical part is focused on the design of a new methodology based on the RCM method.
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in Business Practice
Morcinková, Lenka ; Nahodil, Petr (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
Master’s thesis is concerned with maintenance management in manufacturing companies focusing on TPM. The first part of the thesis deals with the topic theoretically and proposes possible solution in company Siemens Electric Machines s.r.o. based on system analysis. The practical part then describes the current state of maintenance management and recommend various measures to improve autonomous, scheduled and reactive maintenance in this company.
Using tribodiagnostics in predictive maintenance in company practice
Trost, Daniel ; Nahodil, Petr (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the use of tribodiagnostics in predictive maintenance in corporate practice. It is generally dealt with maintenance, then tribodiagnostics in the company Škoda Auto a.s. Used offline and online diagnostic tools are described. Emphasis is placed on verifying the functionality of the newly purchased online filter unit. The experimental part is focused on detailed analysis of the above, including comparison of measurement results offline and online diagnostics. There is also an economic evaluation of savings obtained by operation the online filter unit. In conclusion, the tribodiagnostics recommendations are given for Škoda Auto a.s.
Multiparametric generator diagnostics
Buchtová, Blanka ; Nahodil, Petr (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
The thesis is focused on multiparametric diagnostic of generators at the Dukovany nuclear power plant. One generator was chosen for the thesis and it was examined especially from the practical point of view. The thesis describes current state of the issue with focus on noise diagnostics, vibrodiagnostics and electrodiagnostics. The emphasis is on the system approach of the solution. In the practical part an experiment is designed, described and evaluated. Attention is paid to the conclusions of the performed vibrodiagnostics and noise diagnostics. Data sets are evaluated separately and the relationship between the two diagnostic methods is analyzed. Furthermore, the data set from electrodiagnostics is evaluated and dependencies of electrical diagnostic quantities on other quantities are described. Trends in electrical diagnostic quantities are also monitored. Conclusions and recommendations are formulated at the end of the thesis. It is stated that using multiparametric diagnostics to assess the status of generators in power plants is still in its beginning and that the conclusions of the submitted thesis will contribute to the developmnet in this area.
