Financial analysis of Dopravní podnik Hradec Králové, a.s.

This bachelor thesis is focused on financial analysis of Dopravní podnik města Hradce Králové, a.s. for the period 2010 - 2014. The thesis is divided into two main parts, methodical and practical. The methodical part defines the aim of financial analysis and describes horizontal and vertical analysis, financial ratio analysis, bankruptcy models and credit scoring models. The focus of the practical part is on the company introduction and financial analysis. The results of financial ratios are compared with the results achieved by Dopravní podnik města Pardubic, a.s. Last of all the overall financial situation of the company is evaluated.

This diploma thesis is concerned with the financial analysis of the company Třinecké železárny operating in the region Třinec in Czech Republic.. The analysis is based on annual reports of mentioned company over the past 5 years, from 20010 to 2014. The theoretical part deals with the description of the financial analysis and the methods. There is an introduction of the company in the application part, the analysis of business and the financial analysis, namely vertical and horizontal analysis, financial ratios and solvency or bankruptcy models. Results of the financial analysis and their time progress are subsequently commented and compared with the results of the financial analysis of metallurgical and engineering firms according to the results of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

Finanční analýza Tesco a Carrefour

The diploma thesis "Financial analysis of Tesco and Carrefour" is mainly devoted to understand the economic and financial changes in retail business industry. The main idea is to compare two companies -- Tesco and Carrefour. Comparison consist of deep analysis of changing behaviour over the years of both companies together with analysis of economic data from annual reports which are published every year. It is very important to understand these information, because nowadays is retail industry highly dependent on the global economic changes. Most of the data is analysed over past three years, because recent economic stability is immoderately fluctuating and it could show high distortions of calculations. We will be able to answer which company is in better economic and financial position and which company is better to invest. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical part and practical part. From the first part is possible to understand the philosophy and conditions of the analysis. It contains explanation of analysis tools like PESTE analysis, SWOT analysis and explanation of financial calculations. All of these data are used in the second part of the analysis -- practical part -- where they are applied on two companies -- Carrefour and Tesco. It consist of revue of analysed companies to better understand their position globally, continued with practical analysis where tools as profitability, liquidity, performance and financial and economic behavior tools were used. Thesis is finished with comparison of horizontal and vertical analysis, where data from annual reports were measured. All of these data are summarized and valuated, to see the actual results of the thesis.

The final thesis deals with financial analysis of the company Telefónica O2 Czech republic a.s. for the period from 2003 to 2012. The aim of this thesis is to use the tools of financial analysis to evaluate economic performance. The theoretical part describes general importance, sources of information and indicators which can be used to assess the overall financial situation. The practical part is aimed on the calculation of ratios, their interpretation and about situation on the phone market in the Czech Republic. The last part is focused on results and summary of the company comparison. All the important information is summarized in the conclusion.

The aim of this work is to perform financial analysis NEZA Pelhřimov, spol . s r. o for the period 2009 - 2013. The work is divided into two parts . The first part defines the methodological concepts and techniques of financial analysis , which are subsequently applied to the second part of the analyzed company . First of all, a horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements is performed,secondly, analysis of selected financial ratios are calculated and complemented by comparing the results of two competing companies and, finally, the insolvency prediction model IN 05 and prediction of the financial stringency evaluates the financial health of the company .

This bachelor thesis deals with the financial analysis of the Traditional brewery in Rakovník, joint-stock company. It is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part will explain what the financial analysis means, its purpose, users and resources. I will establish to a description of how the financial analysis of the company should take place. In the practical part I characterize Traditional brewery in Rakovník, describe developments in the beer market in the Czech Republic and practically apply what I explain in the theory. Finally, I find out the strengths and weaknesses of the company, whether it is financially healthy and recommend improvements.

Thesis consist of two central parts. It's first part is called methodological part, here are described particular indicators, which are used in application part. In the second part of the thesis is it's own financial analysis with comparison with company Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile Czech, s.r.o.in the industry. Futher listed is SWOT analysis, which is segment of application part. In the conclusion are summarized all the established knowledge into coherent output, which finds the company as financial healthy.

The first part is theoretical, that explains basic terms and method of financial analysis. The practical part of financial analysis for chosen company between 2009 and 2013 is in second part. The conclusion summarizes the results of financial situation of the company and there are suggested ways of solving of the problems.
