Stabilized operation and short-circuit conditions within E.ON 110kV power network supplied from Otrokovice 110kV switching station, during the period of 2012
Kuba, Petr ; Rampl, Martin (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with steady running and short-circuit conditions in the 110 kV network, E. ON, fed from 110 kV Otrokovice. Substation Otrokovice ensures system transformation from 400 kV to 110 kV system through three transformers. In order to increase reliability of power supply and improved economy is considered to bridge the transition from the operation of two transformers in bridge operations of the three transformers. However, this brings with it significant worsening of short-circuit conditions in the 110 kV network. The task of this work is to evaluate and compare the two variants of operation in terms of steady running and short-circuit conditions in the network at 110 kV and then implement operational and technical measures. The introduction describes the electricity system and its parts. The theoretical part of the paper discusses ways of dealing with steady running and short circuit conditions of long lines. Practical part will deal with applications of knowledge on the network. The conclusion summarizes the most relevant information and the results assessed both variants.
Market Research in the Field of Laundry Care Technology
Škrdla, Michal ; Kuba, Pavel (referee) ; Vondra, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the research of the current offer of household washing machines and driers in the first part. On the basis of this survey, there was made clear list of appliances currently available from all price ranges, including their specifications. The main core of the thesis is an enumeration along with description of modern technologies and features which are essential for the marketing of individual producers. The second part deals in detail with selected technologies of household laundry care, and assesses their usefulness in the professional field.
Energy sources and consumption
Majer, Jan ; Kuba, Pavel (referee) ; Bobák, Petr (advisor)
The thesis describes basic methods of producing energy and presents the basic division and characterize sources of energy. It compares and describes the production of energy in the Czech Republic and the United States of America. The thesis explains, where and how is this energy consumed and presents energy production and consumption in the Czech republic and in the United States of Amerika and provides a comparison of the two countries. Indicates the percentage of consumption in various sectors in these countries and the distribution of energy consumed by resource used. The thesis is also focused on the comparison of household consumption in the Czech Republic and the United States of America. It specifies the average household consumption of Prague and New York and investigates the causes of the difference in average household consumption of both countries.
Design of experiment on a washer extractor
Těthal, Josef ; Šomplák, Radovan (referee) ; Kuba, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals in the first part with research regarding the laundry process and introduction to design of experiments. The next part, which is the output of this work, describes an experiment made. The experiment defines the impact of rinsing temperature and spin speeds on consequential humidity of the laundry.
Data processing and visualization from the TOF-MALDI mass spectrometer
Kuba, Pavel ; Ertl, Lukáš (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes the development of control applications for the deposition machine and mass spectrometer. Thesis describes operation principles of both devices and their hardware specifications. Thesis also describes the design of developed applications. Functionality was tested on series of real measurements.
Analysis of energy saving in industrial washer and dryer
Němeček, Zbyněk ; Bobák, Petr (referee) ; Kuba, Pavel (advisor)
The first part of the bachelor thesis is focused on the professional laundry maintenance issue. View into the common laundry processes and operations is processed by the research way. Then the thesis deals with the experiment, which is the main output. Dependence of the consumption between a washing machine, dryer and temperature of rinsing water is monitored in the performed experiment. On the basis of theoretical knowledge about the viscosity it is assumed that with the rising temperature of rinsing water there is an energy saving. The thesis output is suggestion of energy consumption measurement and mathematical model describing dependencies mentioned.
Usability of Simulink for Laundry Process Modeling
Sobočík, Robert ; Bobák, Petr (referee) ; Kuba, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is devided into two parts. First part is a bibliographic search and speaks about maths modeling, simulations, a MATLAB Simulink programme, and a laundy process. Second part deals with a math model of an industrial laundry. In this part, there is a detailed descripton of the model and how the model was created.
Use of flue gas from gas microturbine for direct drying
Těthal, Josef ; Máša, Vítězslav (referee) ; Kuba, Pavel (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with the problematic of flue gas produced by a gas microturbine which is used as a drying media for general drying. Flue gas needs to be cooled to specific temperatures. The computing part of this work includes solving the microturbine and the mixer. Further part contains bilance solution of a general dryer for resolving the output parameters of wet flue gas. In the last part, the problematic of drying in a laundry facility is described, along with using the flue gas for drying at the specific clothes dryer Primus T24 G.
Energetical utilization of waste, especially sewage sludge
Havlásek, Martin ; Kuba, Pavel (referee) ; Frýba, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor´s work discusses about energetical utilization of sewage sludge. The process is described from sludge treatment to flue gas cleaning. The main emphasis is on incineration, which are governed by legislation. First are listed sludge treatment and utilization technology which included thermal processing in which is thoroughly described the process of incineration. The following are methods for co-incineration of sludge and devices for direct incineration. Work is finished by chapter about flue gas cleaning.
Intensive composting technologies and their applications
Kuba, Petr ; Kučerík, Jiří (referee) ; Řezáčová, Veronika (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with intensive composting. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes information about the composting process and the possibilities of sanitation. The ability to sanitize is essential in the treatment of potentially hazardous biodegradable wastes. The theory also includes information on the preparation of the stockpile, the appropriate composition of materials and the influence of other factors - temperature, aeration rate and turning. It also explains the differences between manual and intensive composting technologies, gives examples of technologies and explains their principles. Last but not least, the advantages of applying compost to the soil are mentioned. The experimental part is devoted to the Multiferm device and the tests of the composting process carried out on this unit. The tests aim to find the optimal parameters for the whole composting process and to ensure the sanitation process. Although the parameters are influenced by several factors, the compost sanitation process is achieved in one of the tests.
