Title of the thesis: Case history of physiotherapy care of a patient diagnosed with cervicalgia Written by: Ludvík Maier Supervisor: col. Michal Říha MD, PhD., MBA Object: The aim of this work is to describe the problems of cervicalgia. Summary: This thesis consists of two parts - special and general. General part focuses on the definition of the disease, causes, clinical features and therapeutic approaches to the issue. The special part is the most important part of the thesis. It includes a case history of a patient with chronic neck pain. Critical part of this case history is a plan of therapy and record of individual physiotherapy procedures which were applied according to the initial analysis. In the end of the special part is the evaluation of the effeciency of the therapy. The case history was developed during internship in the Military University Hospital in Prague. From the achieved results of the research of the theses we can say that the used procedures in therapy contributed to the improvement of the condition of the patient. Key words: cervicalgia , chronic vertebral syndrome, physiotherapy, case history.

Changes of rheological properties during various degrees of knee flexion
Vránová, Aneta ; Šorfová, Monika (advisor) ; Říha, Michal (referee)
Author: Bc. Aneta Vránová Title: Changes of rheological properties during various degrees of knee flexion Aim of the thesis: To find out if there is a difference in rheological properties in varoius degrees of flexion in the knee with meniscal tear and compare the results with measurement after physical aktivity. To compare changes of the reological properties of patients who have undegone meniscectomy a few years ago with patients with recent meniscectomy. Method: Experimental measurements were done by using the method of biorheometry which detects the passive resistance of the knee in movement from flexion to extension. Patients completed case history and a special questionnaire relevant to clinical changes connected to meniscal tear. Measuring data were evaluated and converted in the form of biorheogramme. We measured 6 persons. At first were done measurements in three different sequences for both lower extremities, the same measurement was repeated after the physical activity (50 squats). Results: We found changes of rheological properties in higher degrees of knee flexion with typical rising followed by fall of biorheogramme around flexion of 80ř. They were more remarkable after physical activity. Changes of rheological properies were more expressive in patients who have undergone meniscectomy...
Possibilites of functional evaluation of patients after acute cerbral palsy in ČR
Cvrčková, Iveta ; Říha, Michal (advisor) ; Neuwirthová, Svatava (referee)
Title: Possibilities of functional Evaluation of Patients after acute cerebral Palsy in Czech Republic Objectives: The main objective of this study was to describe the problems of functional assessment of patiens after stroke. Another objektive was to determine and compare the properties ofthe most commonly used functional measures designed for stroke,in our country. Methods: This work is theoretical - research work, which is the theoretical part of the period from September 2012 to June 2013 when retrieving data from literature sources using advanced targeted keywords and thein hotkey in databases based on EBM. The practical part of the study consisted of a questionnaire, which was using the questionnaire survey gathered data needed to evaluace the clinical utility, in the period from May 2013 to July 2013. After obtaining the necessary data from both theoretical and practical part of this data was evaluated and analyzed according to the standard metodology for the evaluation of functional measures for spinal patiens (Chapman, J.R. et al, 2007) and the results of the individual measures were mutually compared. Results: In the theoretical part of the available resources found high objectivity of the free evaluated measures, the measure Barthel Index and the Functional independence measure received...
Case interpretation of physiotherapeutic care of the patient with diagnosis Coxarthrosis 1. sin

Title: Case interpretation of physiotherapeutic care of the patient with diagnosis Coxarthrosis l. sin Summary: The topic of the bachelor thesis is case interpretation of the patient with diagnosis coxarthrosis, which arose as a consequence of hip dysplasia. The general theoretic part describes anatomy and physiology of the hip joint including the decription of total endoprosthesis hip implant, which is proven method of surgical solution of diseases and defects of hip joint. Characteristics of the coxarthrosis disease follows, it includes pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnostics and possibilities of therapeutic processes. The theoretic part also mentiones congenital development defect of hip dysplasia, which is described in terms of etiology, clinical examination, division of congenital hip dysplasia and therapeutic process. The special part consists of case interpretation of the patient with diagnosis coxarthrosis, which arose as a consequence of hip dysplasia. It was was treated by total endoprosthesis of the hip joint. After the surgical solution regular physiotherapeutic care follows. In conclusion the chosen physiotherapy effect is evaluated. Key words: arthrosis, dysplasia, total endoprosthesis, hip joint, rehabilitation

Effect of femoropatellar joint morphological changes on the rheological response of the knee joint
Říha, Michal ; Dylevský, Ivan (advisor) ; Havránek, Antonín (referee) ; Tošnerová, Vlasta (referee)
Title: Effect of femoropatellar joint morphological changes on the rheological response of the knee joint. Aim: The purpose of this work is to evaluate the possibilities of the rheological diagnostics of the effect of the femoropatellar joint morphological changes on total rheological response of a knee joint. The methodolical aim is to evaluate the biorheometry as a sufficient method, sensitive and specific for in vivo measurement of the abnormality, and to compare results of the functional measurement and structural examination. Methods: Standard clinical data of defined group of tested probands were analysed in clinical phase of this study. Specific parameters for measurement of radiological examination were defined. The effect of factual morphological abnormality of the knee joint was identified in experimental phase of this study with the help of biorheometry. The method enables in vivo measurement of the passive momentum (resistance) of a knee joint during forced flexion and extension. The result is expressed as the specific rheological response of the knee joint. Namely, the dependence of the passive momentum M on the angle φ in flexion and extension of the knee is detected. As a result, the total rheological characteristic of the passive resistance of the whole knee-joint system is...
