Manufacturing of Components Using the Waterjet Method
Petřek, Lukáš ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The present bachelor thesis deals with the technology of high pressure hydroabrasive jet. The work is divided into several parts, where the first part analyzes the working principle of technology and compares the measured arithmetic mean deviation of the profile Ra on the cutting edges of the sample after incision by high pressure hydroabrasive jet with the arithmetic mean deviation of the profile Ra given by technology manufacturer, Furthermore it presents a division of abrasives including their recycling and an impact of wastewater on the environment. The second part focuses on the description of individual components of the above technology. The following third part is devoted to the company Rychlý TOM engaged in the production and cutting of material using this technology. In addition, the fourth part discusses the production of individual components. New trends in the area of technology of high pressure hydroabrasive jet are presented in the last part. Finally the thesis provides a discussion and conclusion.
Technological process for part flange
Král, Zdeněk ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
In This thesis the technological process for part flange is compiled. The thesis inculdes analysis of component, material choice and choice of semi – finished product. Two technologies of production have been choosen. The production on the universal center lathe and the production on the CNC lathe. In another charter calculation times are being disscussed. Lastly the technical-ekonomic evaluation is pictured, which contains the comparison between two technologies of production.
Analysis of complete method machining
Daumer, Tomáš ; Kolář, Ladislav (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The work deals with analysis of complete methods machining. In this publication focuses on characteristics of some basic complete methods and results on quality of surface. The publication presents machinery and tools used in these technologies, their advantages and disadvantages. The last point is a practical demostration honing barells and evaluation of the experiment.
Effective turning tools
Kutil, Jaroslav ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
This thesis is focused on high-performance turning tools. The first part deals with the characterization of turning, including basic kinematic relations. In the second part the division of tools and a the description of tool materials are introduced. The last part is centred on the assortment comparison of selected producers of tools in the field of construction.
Effective milling tools
Paseka, Petr ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis are effective milling tools. First chapter is focused on description of the basic milling characteristics. Distribution and description of milling tools from the point of view of their construction, material, use and labeling is in the second chapter. Last chapter contains selection of three types of milling tools and cutting materials from two important producers and their comparison. The types of milling tools are face milling tools, radial slot milling tools and shoulder milling tools. The home producer is Pramet Tools s.r.o and the world producer is Sandvik Coromant.
Machines for unconventional methods of machining
Zelený, Radek ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis is based on machines for unconventional machining, focusing on laser machining. The beginning of this work is summarized by what are unconventional machining methods that fall into this category and are then described along with their advantages and disadvantages The next section is focusing on laser machining. This chapter deals with machines used for laser machining parts that are convenient for a laser machine, but there is described a process itself that brings a lot of problems, advantages and disadvantages compared to other methods of machining. Finally, various technologies are compared for their suitability and use.
Series Production of the Product "Case A"
Krejčíř, Jan ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is to analyze production of front panels for IT cases. The manufacturing is done in the EMKO Case a.s. company on EMC Kosy3 Portal CNC machine, where were also made an experiment. The aim was to incrase production capacity. According to suggestions was made a practical test. The results are summarized in the technical-economic evaluation and in conclusion.
Tools Made from Cemented Carbide
Opršál, Ladislav ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The thesis focuses on cutting tools made of both coated and uncoated cemented carbides. The first part of the thesis deals with the division of materials used for the production of the tools. The second part of the thesis introduces uncoated cemented carbides, special attention being paid to the labelling, production and properties of such compounds. The third part of the thesis presents coating deposition techniques and examines the properties of coating layers. Coating layers are produced using two different methods – CVD and PVD. The last part of the thesis compares the properties of the cutting tools (e.g. their cutting values) produced by the companies Pramet Tools, Sandvik – Coromant and Seco Tools.
The Use of a Waterjet Technique in Finishing Operations
Jantač, Marek ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with abrasive waterjet cutting. In the first part we dis-cuss the possibility of using an abrasive jet in various industries, its advantages and disadvantages. Furthermore, abrasive jet machining methods such as cutting, turning and milling. Then focuses on the technology at AWAC company, which were cut off samples for subsequent measurement. The aim of the measurements was to determine and compare the surface roughness of the samples were cut at different parameters.
Utilization of electrodischarge machining technology
Dlabaja, Zdeněk ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
Electrical discharge machining (EDM) is quite simple but very effective method for machining of materials. This method has an irreplaceable place in modern engineering. The technology of the EDM is theoretically described in this work. The aim of this work was to judge the advantages and disadvantages of this technology, and its application in a tool company Brenas, Ltd. A component typical for production using EDM was chosen for this judgement. The shape complicatedness and necessary dimensional and surface quality can be clearly seen in this component.
