Biolek, Vladimír ; Dvořák, Petr (referee) ; Kvapil, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with plasmonic nanostructures for mid-infrared region of electromagnetic spectrum. In the first part, there are discussed theoretical description of electromagnetic field and description of properties of plasmonic nanostructures. Then the manufacturing methods of the plasmonic nanostructures for mid-infrared region of electromagnetic spectrum are discussed using focused ion beam, and measurement of these nanostructures are discussed using Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy.

Daňko, Matúš ; Brožek, Petr (referee) ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor)
Cieľom tejto práce bolo vytvorenie prehľadu o momentálne najpoužívanejších metódach aktívneho riadenia prúdu a ich aplikácii. Práca taktiež obsahuje stručný historický prehľad z vývoja metód riadenia prúdu spoločne so stručným porovnaním jednotlivých metód.
Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle for vegetation monitoring
Trojánek, Tomáš ; Pejchar, Jan (referee) ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to select the most appropriate platforms for the fulfillment of required flight mission. The first part reviews available unmanned vehicles suitable for vegetation monitoring and includes both commercially available and self-made types. There are presented basic parameters, recommended equipment and tested configuration of each platform. The second part includes graphical comparison of all models in different categories and the most suitable platform has been selected on its basis. The model project which is based on the selected platform is presented in the final section.
Interaction of a SNOM tip with electromagnetic near-field produced by interference of surface plasmon polaritons
Jakub, Zdeněk ; Břínek, Lukáš (referee) ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is fabrication of probes for scanning near-field optical microscope (SNOM) and testing of their functionality by measuring interference patterns of surface plasmon polaritons (SPP). The theoretical part deals with the basic properties of SPP’s and methods of their excitation and detection. In the experimental part, methods of sharp tip fabrication by chemical etching, thin film deposition by ion beam sputtering (IBS) or by ion beam assisted deposition (IBAD) and aperture opening by focused ion beam (FIB) are explained and demonstrated. Finally, interference patterns of SPP’s are measured with fabricated probes and the results are compared with the results obtained with commercially available probes.
Magnetic multilayers for spintronics applications
Vaňatka, Marek ; Dvořák, Petr (referee) ; Urbánek, Michal (advisor)
Magnetic multilayers have applications as magnetic field sensors or magnetic memory cells. Mastering the methods of fabrication and characterization of the structures such as spin valve or magnetic tunnel junction is an important step towards more complicated spintronics devices. This work summarizes basic theory of magnetism, magnetotransport properties, and it describes basic applications of magnetic multilayers. The experimental part of this work deals with the sample preparation by ion beam sputtering (IBS), ion beam assisted deposition (IBAD), and characterization of prepared multilayers by measuring anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR), giant magnetoresistance (GMR), or tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR).
Study of Properties of Surface Plasmon Polariton by Using Scanning Near-Field Optical Microscopy
Neuman, Tomáš ; Kalousek, Radek (referee) ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor`s thesis deals with the study of properties of surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) propagating along the metal - dielectric interface. The interference of SPPs was experimentally examined by a scanning near-field optical microscope (SNOM) on plasmonic structures prepared by focused ion beam (FIB) etching. Interference patterns caused by SPPs propagating from prepared excitation slits were observed. Detected interference patterns were theoretically discussed. Finally, the sensitivity of the SPP coupling on the polarization of the excitation laser beam was experimentally confirmed.
Temperature control und monitoring of laboratory kiln
Dvořák, Pavel ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor work is to create a laboratory training which is made for teaching and demonstration laboratory furnace temperature control with applications created in Control Web 6.1 The role includes the regulation and capture waveforms measured and desired temperatures, allows the timing of the required temperature. The application is processed for example burning of small products. Allows archiving of temperature distribution and also monitoring the instantaneous values of the desired and measured temperatures with the possibility of switching heating via the Internet. The thesis presents a proposal for linking laboratory furnace with a computer using the input output module DataLab
Creation of plasmonic micro- and nanostructures by electron beam lithography
Babocký, Jiří ; Dvořák, Petr (referee) ; Kvapil, Michal (advisor)
This beachelor’s thesis deals with a fabrication of plasmonic antennas using electron beam lithography. First section consists of summary of a technologies that can be used for production of metallic micro and nanostructures on silicon and glass substrate. Second section provides a description of electron beam lithography method and technologies that are used for it. Final part describes experiments, that were done and empiric model describing dependance of dimension of fabricated structures on lithographic parameters.
Modelling of Local Plasmon Resonances
Dvořák, Petr ; Dub, Petr (referee) ; Kalousek, Radek (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis is dedicated to plasmon resonance systems. The first part deals with the analytical and numerical description of behaviour of the surface plasmon polaritons in the edge proximity of metal antennas. The second part is devoted to the simulations of dispersion of light on Ga cap deposited on Si substrate. Possibilities of measurements of the resonance with the SNOM method is mentioned at the end.
Quality and competition.
Dvořák, Pavel ; Toul, Jiří (referee) ; Fiala, Alois (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with problems of quality and competitive strength. Here is enlarged the way how to ensure the quality and to satisfy the customer by implementig, following and checking of ISO standards. Satisfaction of the customer brings the potentiality into the company. The only way is to bring up our children for the lifelong learning. Education in languages should be on very high level and languages should be taught even in kindergartens. Crossconnection of the government´s policies in infrastructures and education will have positive influence on our future life, factories will not move to East, they will stay here and employ our people. To be open to innovation and not hesitate to lay resources into it. This is the only way to obtain more effective production. We shouldn´t forget the safety of work and follow the severe laws and standards. The heritage for following generations will depend on our attitude to quality problems and to competitive strength. We cannot think only of short-term profit, but also of the future. The society will be permanently created and developed. The society will be permanently created and developed. We cannot stay on one place in this created system. It is necessary to follow the progress in the world and give priority to new technologies and ensure the prosperity for our descendants.
