Modelling and Simulation of Projects Improving the Thermal Properties of Buildings

This doctoral thesis deals with the modelling of projects improving the thermal technical characteristics of buildings. The solution of this problem seems to be finding at least one cost-effective option. The basic method of evaluation of cost-effectiveness is represented by the compilation of all corresponding cash flows and their rendering in time through discounting. The aim of the docáral thesis is the processing and modeling of individual investment options related with improve the thermal-technical properties of buildings and finding a cost-optimal variants, ideally. One of the expected outputs is to develop a comprehensive methodology (modeling and simulation task) useful for defining all potential investment projects improving variant thermal-technical properties of the object.
Development of the Construction Order during its Realization

The Master´s thesis deals with the development of the construction order during its realization. This thesis contains the necessary theoretical inputs that are focused on explaining the concepts of construction company, construction order and progress in building industry. It is based on theoretical inputs that have been taken to a case study that deals with the development of selected construction order during its life stage - realization. Case study contains the characteristics of the selected construction company, financial analysis, development process of construction order and draft of the measures to improve the processing of construction order.

The aim of my thesis is the financial assessment of selected construction company through financial analysis. The theoretical part includes characterization of construction company, financial statements and a description of the financial analysis and its methods. The practical part evaluates the economical situation of company through financial analysis. The financial analysis is prepared for methods of analysis of summary indicators, horizontal and vertical analysis and analysis of ratiometric indicators.

The aim of this thesis is to propose a suitable financing method for this plan. This thesis deals with simplified financial and economic evaluation of the project. The evaluation is prepared with the aim to obtain financing for the investment from the European Union funding.

Abstractthe aim of my diploma thesis is to evaluate economical situation of a constructive company with tools of financial analysis. Theoretical part od my thesis is focused on constructive companies in genereal, account sheets, differentation of assets and liabilities and mainly on characteristics of financial analysis. Practical part of my thesis describes financial situation of a chosen constructive company with a help of financial analysis. The financial analysis is elaborated with so called horizontal and vertical analysis, method of ratio indexes, pyramid fragmentation and with a help of quick Kralicek test. There exist many ways how to finance fixed assets of a company. In my thesis, I deal with several types of funding fixed assets and compare them. In the introduction, I describe different types of funding, their advantages and disadvantages. One of the ways of funding is a lease, a loan or renting of fixed assets. The aim of my work was to select the best way of funding fixed assets for the selected company and study its tax consequences.

The aim of the master’s thesis is to analyze potential of methodical approach during construction company evaluation in the period of economical fluctuation. Building industry is the activity that is very sensitive towards market and economy swings. Their impacts significantly influence the attitude towards evaluation and prize in the building industry. Construction companies are affected by economy swings. Therefore, in my master’s thesis, I analyze different approaches towards their evaluation and also methods of the prize determination.
Planning of linear structures

Submitted thesis deals with the planning of an implementation of a liner construction. The theoretical part is focused on the life cycle of the project and its phases. Describes the process of planning time and the formation of the timetable of the construction. At the end of the theoretical part there is a chapter devoted to the process of resource planning and costs and financing of the project. The practical part deals with the application of the project management on the project modernization of the D1 highway – section 21, especially with the organizational structure of participants of the project and the management of time by using the schedule of the construction. In conclusion, there is an evaluation made by the differences of the actual and alternate duration of the construction.
Optimization of the Tendering Process of Construction Order Subsupplier

This Bachelor's thesis focuses on an optimization of tendering process for subcontractors of a construction order. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part covers all aspects of this topic, which is to describe a works contract, its participants, the process of tendering, works contract and the process of optimization itself. The practical part focuses on a system of tendering process in a construction company. The thesis gives a detailed description of a public tender mechanism for subcontractors in relation to a specific works contract. The thesis also focuses on the tasks that are given to employees working on the works contract. The main goal of the thesis is to find effective approaches in order to improve the whole process of tendering.
