Web information system for web reality brokers
Vávra, Štěpán ; Karásek, Michal (referee) ; Bílý, Tomáš (advisor)
Title: Estate agency internet information system Author: Štěpán Vávra Department: Department of Applied Mathematics Supervisor: Mgr. Tomáš Bílý Supervisor's email address: tomby@kam.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: The aim of this work is to explore the possibilities offered by the PHP language in combination with the Apache web server and MySQL database in order to implement a web application. This web should be able to compete with other similar applications on the internet, especially in the field of real estate, both by its functionality and graphic design. A significant part of the task should consist of the design of the application. Consequently, our objective was not to find and use the most suitable framework or other tools of support, such as content management system. The programming phase of the project was then done using the methods of Object oriented programming. Keywords: web application, PHP, XHTML, JavaScript
Mouse Gestures
Dzurenko, Miroslav ; Karásek, Michal (referee) ; Bílý, Tomáš (advisor)
Computer mouse was invented more than forty years ago, but its real potential is not even used at present. Application Just Gestures extends mouse possibility with "mouse gestures" - gestures which are created in combination with mouse clicks and movements. This trajectory is recognized and executes specific command for any application or operating system, what makes work easier and faster. The aim of this work is to create an application for Microsoft Windows system based on neural network recognition. In regards to our specification, it is necessary to divide problem in to three basic parts - retrieving and processing mouse actions, learning, recognition of gestures and executing the adequate command.
Cell shape simulation using cytoskeleton model
Horáček, Jaroslav ; Bílý, Tomáš (referee) ; Bálek, Martin (advisor)
This work is focused on computer modelling of cells' behavior. Emphasis is layed on simulating of cell shaping. The goal is to design theoretical structure, which suitably represents cytoskeleton of cell. Our model is based on Zygotic graph. It defines cell reactions to incoming stimulation from environment. Unlike previous models we newly add Fill graph and Granary graph to the Zygotic graph. In order to modelling of cell shaping we define membrane flexibility. We also define mechanism of Cytoplasmatic pulse. It is necessary for amoeboid movement modelling. We added new structure called Granary, which represents storage ability of cell. We use our model to simulate movement of amoeba cell. Another example shows white blood cell moving through blood vessel wall. We also attempt to simulate growth of cells inside closed environment.
Mariáš Card Game Trainer
Malý, Dominik ; Bílý, Tomáš (referee) ; Senft, Martin (advisor)
Mariáš is probably the most well-known and favourite card game in Czech Republic and despite this remains to be seen almost exclusively in our country. In this work we study the ways, how can this interesting game be implemented in the speech of ones and zeros typical for computers. This work also briefly describes the evolution of full information games solving algorithms, from old minimax to alfabeta pruning and my own adjusted negamax - algorithm for games without full information, using a more universal approach, which could be theorethically extended for all card games, whether existing or not.
Music manager
Sixta, Martin ; Bálek, Martin (referee) ; Bílý, Tomáš (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis describes a music manager program "Yamp"from the perspective of a software developer. The program Yamp is a graphical user interface application which can play audio files, view and edit metada information stored inside audio files, and enables to view additional information not stored inside audio files. The Yamp application can be categorized as a music player with collection management capabilities. The program is written in C++ programming language (with some parts written in plain C). It uses software libraries from the GNOME Desktop Platform, for audio playback is used the GStreamer library. The graphical user interface uses the gtkmm library. The application was tested by the author of the program. The thesis is split up in 5 chapters. The first chapter explains motivation behind the work along with summary of technologies and libraries used to develop the application. Chapter 2 presents overview of the most important technology used to develop the program. Chapter 3 describes installation process and usage of the application. Chapter 4 describes details of implemention and finally Chapter 5 sumps up experience obtained during development of the programn. The work also containes the software application itself, user's guide and application programming interface documentation...
Community work and the specifics of working with Romany minority
BÍLÝ, Tomáš
Bachelor´s thesis deals with community work and its specifics of work with Romany minority. The theoretical part introduces specifics of community work with Romany minority, its basic values and ?from the bottom up? principle, which is the main principle of community work. There are also covered stages of community development and important qualities of community worker for work with Romany minority. In the theoretical part there is particularly described the whole process of activation of this group of people as it is written in available literature. I used an example of Public Service Company Cheiron T in Tábor to demonstrate community work in practice. The practical part introduces specific community work of Cheiron T with local Romany minority in Tábor and the research. The main aim of my research is to find out how the Romany community in Tábor perceives activities of Cheiron T in relation to itself and how the Romany community reflects it at different levels. Other fractional aims are to find out what are the differences in perceiving activity of Cheiron T between representatives of Romany community who belong to initiation group and other inactive representatives of Romany community in Tábor and also what the community itself thinks they could do to change their unfavourable life situation. The practical part ends with presentation and interpretation of interviews of representatives of Romany community who I have held a conversation with. At the end of the thesis there is a discussion where I compare these interviews with my practical experience and the ideas I have found in literature.
Primary electron scattering on biological specimen embedding resins at low voltage transmission electron microscope LV EM 5
BÍLÝ, Tomáš
This master thesis deals with researching the structure of embedding resin in the Low-Voltage Transmission Electron Microscope (LV TEM). Further, it focuses on researching the surface morphology by the Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) and by the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The principle of each of the microscopes is explained ? the contrast formation and construction of the LV TEM in particular. In the conclusion the evaluation of the effect of the surface structure of the embedding resin on the image contrast in the LV TEM and the analysis of the minimalization of its effect on the final image is given.
Physical principles of transmission and scanning electron microscopy
BÍLÝ, Tomáš
This bachelor thesis focuses on the description of transmission and scanning electron microscopy. It describes physical principles and defects arising during image formation in electron microscopes as well as the methodology of adjustment. The basic parts of electron microscopes are looked into more closely herein with consideration to the lectures. Practical implementation is demonstrated on following microscopes JEOL: JEM-1010, JSM-7401F, JDM-6300.
