The role of growth factors in the pathogenesis of papillary thyroid cancer

This thesis deals with the role of growth factors in the pathogenesis of thyroid gland tumors. There exist a lot of studies describing growth factors production or occurrence directly in the thyroid tissue. The aim of this thesis was to find possible differences in serum concentrations of growth factors in patients with thyroid adenoma and papillary cancer and in healthy people. The finding of suitable peripheral marker could be used in thyroid tumors diagnosis in the future. There was also detected growth factors production by normal thyroid gland and papillary thyroid cancer in a dynamic model of flow tissue culture, under the influence of stimulating substances. The aim was a more detailed understanding of particular growth factors role in a process of thyroid oncogenesis. Growth factors are polypeptides, proteins and glycoproteins with an informative and regulatory function. They have mainly local effects in tissues - autocrine and paracrine. They form an extensive cytokine network in the organism, with complicated synergic and antagonistic linkages. They are not specific for concrete cells, tissues or pathological processes. Maximalization of Market Value in Construction Company

This thesis is about maximization of the market value of a company as a primary financial target of nowadays financial management. Valuation of real company in first part using discounted cash flow method is then completed with a sensitivity analysis. Purpose of it is evaluation of a rate of consequences from forecasted values of individual value drivers to the final market value of the company. The output is represented with suggestions to procuration just to maximize the value of the company.

Study of fish-passing facility on the weirs on Bečva river

This master's thesis consists of three main parts. The first section describes some types of fish crossings and basic information of their design. There is also marginally described program HEC-RAS. The second part is about the Zuberská weir and Osek stage. I review here fish ladders according to the original drawings in the HEC-RAS and suggest possible options to address these passable fish crossings for the fish crew. The last section is devoted to Mikulenkov weir where the fish crossing has been completely removed. Here I propose a new fish ramp according to modern knowledge and applicable standards. I also review the proposed fish ramp in the HEC-RAS program in order to verify the hydraulic characteristics.

Revitalization of weir on Svratka river inVranovice with fish crossing

This present work deals with the design of revitalization measures for the weir in Uherčice (Vranovice) on the river Svratka. The current condition of weir constuction does not allow aquatic animals to migrate, weir constuction is transverse barrier. In this river section are found many fish species like barbel, vimba, nase and chub, for which is migration completely natural part of their behavior. There is concrete weir with a movable flap and on the right bank is located a small hydroelectric power plant. Close to hydroelectric power plant outlet is mouth of Šatava river. Weir revitalization consists of fish pass construction. Proposed fish pass is located on the right bank of the stream. There is a close-to-nature bypass channel that will ensure a continuity of water flow of already mentioned river Svratka between Věstonice lake and Rajhrad weir. Entrance to the fish pass will use a part of Šatava mount, then will continue in the artificial channel to the upstream part of Svratka river. Fish pass exit cannot breake the function of protective anti-flood embankment of Svratka river, hence there will be used block off construction. During condition of flooding will exist the possibility to shut down proposed fish pass.

This work deals with questions about the measuring of the tantalum capacitor leakage current. This thesis answers to many questions of this sphere e.g. Study of basic parameters, analysis of the measurment LI Head, creating software for the connection between the measuring LI Head, the computer and the analog measuring card, activation of the measuring set, verification of set functionality and economic evaluation of the whole project.

This thesis summarizes the options that are offered in the financing of corporate activities. The theoretical part examines the individual sources of finance, factors affecting financing, outlines the information that can be obtained from a financial analysis and mentions financial planning as a tool for future ideas for funding. The practical part describes the real construction company and the way it uses in terms of financing their activities. Financial analysis of the company serves as the basis for consideration alternative options.

Analysis of the current state of cybercrime in the EU

My bacherols thesis on the topic Analysis of the current condition of cybernetic criminality in EU focuses in its theoretical part on the definition of the term cybercrime. This term is very comprehensive, therefore the vast majority of the paper consists of the variety of forms of cybercrime. There are talking specificaly about attacks againts personal computers and software systems, attacks, that lead up to misuse of computers, datas and other information, breaking the copyright and last, but not least using the computers againts the law. An integral part of the thesis is the current legislation, investigation of a cyber offense and the defense againts cybercrime. And interesting chapter are the trends from the years 2010 to 2016, where I mention the most interesting real-life cases of cybercrime. The main aim of the practical part of the thesis is unification of recommendations and rules concerning the defense againts cybercrime based on my obtained information and experience.
