Validation of Network Parameters Based on Network Monitoring
Martínek, Radim ; Veselý, Vladimír (referee) ; Žádník, Martin (advisor)
The Master's Thesis presents a theoretical introduction, familiarization with the issue and a implementation for a solution of a "network parameter validation" tool, which is founded on principle of network traffic monitoring. Firstly, the current development of computer network setup is analyzed with its limitations. This is an initial point for an introduction of a new approach for implementation and verification of required network setting, which uses techniques of verification, simulation and validation. After the introduction into the context, validation techniques are specifically examined. The Thesis main contribution lies in the capacity to determine appropriate parameters, which can be used for validation and also for implementation of the tool, which ensures validation process. The network traffic, which characterizes the behavior of the network, is collected by NetFlow technology, which generates network flows. These flows are consequently used by the designed tool used for validation of required network parameters. This process overall verifies whether the main computer network requirements have been met or not.
Modelling of Distance-Vector Routing Protocols
Trhlík, Jiří ; Matoušek, Petr (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the implementation of the RIPng routing protocol in the OMNeT++/INET environment. It describes the RIPng protocol and its specifics on the Cisco devices. It clarifies important concepts such as IPv6 and distance-vector routing protocols. The thesis also describes the OMNeT++ environment and the INET Framework, where it focuses on the current status of implementation of the components required for the RIPng protocol integration.
Analysis Tool for the Network Traffic Content
Mareš, Martin ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
This paper is about designing and implementing a tool for analysis of the network traffic content. Work is part of the SEC6NET project at FIT - Brno University of Technology. The paper describes specific requirement for such a tool and existing solutions. The main part is devoted to design and implementation of new tool - Netfox Detective. Several problems are handled: data persistence, performance, extensibility, etc. The last part of work describes possibilities and features of the Netfox Detective. The work emphasises extensibility and future development of a created tool.
Correlation of Inbound and Outbound Traffic of Tor Network
Coufal, Zdeněk ; Veselý, Vladimír (referee) ; Polčák, Libor (advisor)
Communication in public networks based on the IP protocol is not really anonymous because it is possible to determine the source and destination IP address of each packet. Users who want to be anonymous are forced to use anonymization networks, such as Tor. In case such a user is target of lawful interception, it presents a problem for those systems because they only see that the user communicated with anonymization network and have a suspicion that the data stream at the output of anonymization network belong to the same user. The aim of this master thesis was to design a correlation method to determine the dependence of the data stream at the input and the output of the Tor network. The proposed method analysis network traffic and compares characteristics of data streams extracted from metadata, such as time of occurence and the size of packets. This method specializes in correlating data flows of protocol HTTP, specifically web server responses. It was tested on real data from the Tor network and successfully recognized dependency of data flows.
Modelling New Network Architectures in OMNeT++
Hykel, Tomáš ; Veselý, Vladimír (referee) ; Marek, Marcel (advisor)
This thesis describes principles and state of implementation of selected new network architectures. It also documents implementation of the Relaying and Multiplexing Task module of one of the presented architectures, Recursive InterNetwork Architecture (RINA), for the OMNeT++ simulation framework. The main goal of this thesis is to extend functionality of an existing simulation library to provide a full-fledged means for modelling RINA networks.
Online Games Chat Reconstruction
Beran, Pavel ; Pluskal, Jan (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
We live in modern times. We are surrounded by many different forms of information technologies. We watch movies, surf on the internet, play videogames and overall do lots of action that leave a trace in the cyberworld. This thesis investigates the possibility of using(playing) videogames as a decoy for getting involved in criminal activities, specifically MMORPG games, different ways of capturing and reproducing player´s chat communication. It also introduces a way to implement chat reconstruction module into Netfox.framework and other ways of communication visualisation.
Modelling of Babel Routing Protocol
Rek, Vít ; Marek, Marcel (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with the simulation of a Babel routing protocol. The goal is to create implementation of simulation model for OMNeT++ simulator. The text includes a description of the protocol and basic principles of computer network simulation in OMNeT++ environment using an INET library. Furthermore, the text discussed existing implementations and submits a proposal of a simulation model, followed by description of its implementation. Finally, the correctness of created model is verified.
Value Estimation of a Company
Zimolová, Lucie ; Veselý, Vladimír (referee) ; Kocmanová, Alena (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with determining the value of a specific agricultural cooperative. The theoretical part focuses on standard terminology and explains methods which are used for assessing the company value. The practical part of the thesis contains strategic and financial analysis including the financial plan for the next several years. Finally, the value of the agricultural cooperative is calculated using three different methods. At the end, one of these methods is chosen as appropriate for the given company.
Solution production of a component to mould
Veselý, Vladimír ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis describes creation of a packaging component made of ABS-TPU material. It is being made by vacuum shaping technology on a negative form. Bosch Diesel s.r.o. Jihlava company is introduced in the first part and a brief summary of the most commonly used packagings follows. The next part shows the very first draft of packaging shape and also how customers and the manufacturer implement some final changes. Next part describes the process of making a form and the packaging fabric. Finally there is aneconomical evaluation in the last part.
