This master´s thesis describes the development proposal and production of instrument current transformer in one turn primary winding with 4000//5/5 A transfer. The thesis involves a theoretical analysis, a numerical calculation, a developmental 3D model, corresponding simulations and a standard testing of the transformers. There is a complete written description of measuring current transformer cycle from the development to the production. The transformer development and production works were collaborated with the company KPB Intra s.r.o. The company engages in development, production and sale of these kinds of instrument transformers in the Czech Republic and foreign markets.

CAE system EPLAN Electric P8 and design documentation

This Graduation Theses dissertate about a creation of a drawing documentation at the professional CAE EPLAN Electric P8 system. One original solution of a remote control and of motor-generator monitoring with a mobile phone, short SMS-aided in this case, was used as an example of the drawing documentation. As has allready been noted in previous Bachelor Thesis, this application can be use not only for a remote control of a motor-generator, but this solution is suitable for other electric devices too, which are out of reach of an attendance for example. In our case a generator with 6kVA power is concerned with rated output voltage 230Vac and rated current 25A. The system of a remote control has the advantage that it is created from standard components (electric instruments, a PLC – programmable automat, a GSM modem, an operating panel and the respective program in the PLC).

Bushing-type current transformer 25 kV, 400/5/5 A

The aim of this master’s thesis is the design of a double-core bushing-type current transformer. This appliance is intended for measuring and protection of high-voltage distribution systems of the internal type for the highest system voltage of 25 kV. The master’s thesis is divided into four parts. The first part describes the function of the current transformer. The next part deals with the analysis of the phasor diagram and errors of the current transformer. The major part of the thesis deals with the design of the protective and measuring core. The last part describes the 3D model of the bushing-type current transformer.

The models of Electric Instruments in Modern CAD Systems

In this master thesis the new possibilities of software Autodesk Inventor Professional 2008 are described. Autodesk Inventor is a system for 3D machine engineering containing tools for 3D modeling, information management, cooperation and technical support. Autodesk Inventor Professional 2008 has a lot of new possibilities and improvements compared to the previous version. This Master thesis contains also description of the circuit breaker BD250N and its utilization in the distribution of low voltage. In enclosed CD the model animation of circuit breaker with description of modeling process can be found. The Autodesk Inventor Professional 2008 is used for this master’s thesis – English version.

Instrument voltage transformers of outdoor type

The function analysis of instrument voltage transformer with the aid of his equivalent diagram and his phasor diagrams is main part of my masters thesis. I solve the influence and errors of his equivalent diagram’s elements on this instrument voltage transformer. Than I talk about suitable magnetic materials using for instrument voltage transformers. There are 3D pictures which show lay-out of instrument voltage transformers’s windings and his magnetic circuit.
