Detection and Tracking of Small Moving Objects
Záděra, David ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Juránek, Roman (advisor)
This thesis summarizes and describes the methods for detecting and tracking moving objects in video. The detection methods discussed in the working are background subtraction, segmentation and detection methods using classifiers. From tracking methods are presented Kalman filter, TLD method and particle filter, which is described in detail in a separate chapter. Particle filter is a tracking method that calculates a new estimate of the state of the object based on a set of particles. These particles are defined by their positions and weights. For each next state are these values iteratively updated by measurment and resampling. From the acquired knowledge and expertise has been created a program that demonstrates the activity of the particle filter. This program is part of the DVD, where are also the samples and test results.
Similar Photo Searching
Rosa, Štěpán ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This paper describes the way to realization such an application, where a user chooses a photo database to working with and enters a photo into the system. The system using a visual vocabulary finds the most similar photos from the database and offers tags of the searched photo with a suitable form based on the tag statistical analysis of this photo.
GEOReminder for N900
Aron, Lukáš ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Mlích, Jozef (advisor)
This work deals with a design of an application for the mobile device Nokia N900, which enables the planning of a set of actions, which shall be carried out in a predefined region. The region or specific position is defined by the user based on the coordinates of the GPS system. Upon reaching of the target location a set of actions, which is defined when creating the notification, is carried out. The work describes the theory of the mobile device and the options of obtaining the position of such a device. A description of the implementation of the application follows, where the method and the graphical user interface are described. In the conclusion of the work, the achieved results and a proposal for continuation of the work are summarised.
WiiMote as Input Device
Vrana, Ondřej ; Láník, Aleš (referee) ; Mlích, Jozef (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with possibilities of PC control by Wii remote controller compared to classical input devices. It focus on utilization of hand gestures as an alternative way to set orders to PC. Algorithm " Dynamic time warping" for signals recognition and inter-process communication technics DCOP and D-BUS are presented. Other part of the thesis is dedicated to proposal and implementation of application using WiiMote.
Handwriting Recognition
Zouhar, David ; Řezníček, Ivo (referee) ; Mlích, Jozef (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with handwriting recognition in real-time. It describes the ways how the intput data are processed. It is also focused on the classi cation methods, which are used for the recognition. It especially describes hidden Markov models. It also present the evaluation of the success of the recognition based on implemented experiments. The alternative keyboard for MeeGo system was created for this thesis as well. The established system achieved the success above 96%.
Multiuser Mapping Application for Mobile Device
Utěkal, Jan ; Láník, Aleš (referee) ; Mlích, Jozef (advisor)
This thesis presents design and implementation of multiuser mapping application for mobile device. The aim is to create a coordination system intended primarily for controlling mobile units of the Police of the Czech Republic. First, the existing solutions with similar focus are described. Subsequently, the most suitable communication, mapping and database technologies are selected. The next part of this work describes the system design and its implementation. Effectiveness of the system is verified in a series of tests, which deal with the power and data consumption. The thesis concludes with possible extensions of the program and ways of future development.
Flight Timer in Ultramicro Aircraft/Helicopter
Široký, Adam ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the development of embedded system for ultra light airplanes and helicopters. The aim is to design a system which would allow to measure and record the length of individual flights. It is therefore an onboard electronic diary which should facilitate and streamline the administration associated with sport aircraft operation. The base of the system is created on microcontroller of the MSP430 family by Texas Instruments. A reader will be offered the used hardware, the system design, the way of function and the possibility of using of the suggested system.
Web Interface for Image Processing
Beran, Milan ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This paper concerns design and implementation of a system which provides easier control of digital image processing console applications. The work is based on threes information technology domains: distributed systems, image processing and web technologies. The system consist of number of separated components communicating with each other in order of processing desired tasks. Control interface and the task daemon are implemented in PHP language. Image processing programs are implemented in C language using OpenCV graphic library. Control of the system is carried out through web graphical interface using dynamic control components implemented in Javascript language, jQuery library and jQueryUI interface. Part of the work is also a description of employment of the system in practical use in two environments, experiments concerning system performance and web interface user acceptance testing.
Multiple Document Type Diff
Zemko, Michal ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Chmelař, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with comparing different types of files, especially source codes. It describes the problem of comparing source code and different ways of solving this problem, from simple line comparison, to AST comparison. Chosen method was comparison based on lexical analysis. This is also described in the work with instruments of its automation. The goal of this thesis is to design and implement modular application, which compares different types of files. The implemented module compares source code in programming languages C/C++, Java a Python. This module is easily extendable for comparisons with other languages.
System for Import of Photos
Pučálka, Martin ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is design and implementation of stand-alone program for import of photos. Program can find already imported photos in computer and skip them during next import. Searching for identic photos is based on comparing metadata. Thanks to this way of comparasion, aplication doesn't need to load and compare image data and searching can be faster. Implemented were also functions for separating, renaming and adding metatada to photos.
