Sensorless Vector Control of Induction Motor
Kokeš, Petr
For sensorless IM control, the problem of simultaneous estimation of inner non-measurable IM state quantities and one or more slowly changing parameters must be solved. For this purpose, the Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) was chosen and an EKF of 7th order was designed to estimate magnetic flux linkage of the stator and rotor and also IM speed and stator and rotor resistances. The IM model was then extended to the 9th order and the corresponding 9th order EKF enabled to estimate further stator parameters. Theoretical solutions were verified by computer simulations and also by practical experiments with a 2,2kW IM fed from 4-level VSI.
Control and balancing of 7-level voltage converter with reduced capacitance of three flying capacitors
Kokeš, Petr
A method of the control and voltage balancing of a converter using 4-7L topology is described. The 7-level VSI employs flying capacitors, 3 of which have substantially reduced capacitance. Conditions are explained under which the mentioned VSI can be controlled using the 4-level space vector modulation. Three algorithms of capacitor voltage balancing were developed which differ in complexity. All of them were verified by computer simulations. A simple basic variant has been realized in FPGA and tested in a LV 4-7L VSI model.
Control system of AFE device : contract number-771225
Kokeš, Petr
The complete development of the AFE (Active Front End) control system is documented from its theoretical bases to implementation to Emadyn-D controller and experiments with a 4-level PWM rectifier Invert 10kV (ČKD Elektrotechnika). The main parts of the control system involve the LQR controller of AC current equipped with essential AW correction and the upper controller of DC link voltage.
Design specifics of power converters for a winding machine
Hauptmann, R. ; Kokeš, Petr ; Semerád, Radko
Specific features of electric drives for winding machines are described. Differences in design between d.c. and a.c. motor power drives and required parameters of converters feeding synchronous motor for a winding machine are discussed. Optimization of four-level flying-capacitor inverter design and selection of suitable coolers of power semiconductor switches.
Processing choice part theory and didactics windsurfing form video cassette
KOKEŠ, Petr
Bachelor work is dealing with the standardization methodics basic of windsurfing. The work is trying to make methodic series which this young sport does not have yet . It will show you introducing with the most important equipment and summary in to the completly list and also advanced equipment related to this expensive sport. This work will help beginners and advanced riders through visual explanation and in added movie for amateurs with understadably comentary during learning how to get windsurfing set together and corectly trimming complet, for safe move on the water with basic rule of behaviour on the trouble water, and also with valuable advice in possible critical situations. It will help beginners riding from basic move on the water with certain concretly manevours which are necessary for mastering how to return back to more advanced complements. Added movie doesn´t show only basic rightfulness of this rich sport, but it should also show all beauty, which is associated with it.\\
Balancování napětí na 4-hladinovém napěťovém střídači s plovoucími kondenzátory
Kokeš, Petr ; Semerád, Radko
This paper deals with voltage balancing, which is a specific problem in multilevel voltage source inverters (VSI). The reasons for choosing a capacitor-clamped VSI for the solution of our project are stated, and the basic principle of such VSIs and the demands on balancing their flying capacitors are explained. A control algorithm for the voltage balancing of a 4-level capacitor-clamped VSI is suggested. The implementation of the balancing algorithm is also discussed. The results obtained from computer simulations in the time domain demonstrate the operating capability of the proposed balancing algorithm in an 850 kW induction motor drive.
