Title: Case Study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after the fracture of the proximal part of the humerus resolved by the osteosynthesis Objectives: The main purpose of this paper was to get orientated in the professional literature in the field concerned. Another goal was to find out the author's abilities to examine and work with a patient, followed by stating a conclusion, suggesting an appropriate therapy as well as the way it is to be done. Methods: First part of the paper is dedicated to the theoretical basis of the issue of the patient who suffered from fracture of the proximal part of humerus that was resolved by the osteosynthesis. The anatomy and kinesiology of pectoral girdle and upper extremity, general theory of fractures and the solutions to it are all discussed, as well as miscellaneous ways to treat a fracture, most of them being done by an operation. In the end, the ways of rehabilitating with a fracture that are commonly used are stated. The other part is a casuistry of the patient O. N. with diagnosis state after the fracture of the proximal part of the humerus resolved by the ostheosynthesis. This special part is based on working with the patient for more than two weeks in Oblastní nemocnice Kladno (Regional Hospital Kladno) from 20th January 2011 to 3rd February 2011....
Case Report: Physiotherapeutic Treatment of a Patient Diagnosed with a Bimalleolar Ankle Fracture
Šindlerová, Barbora ; Kozáková, Alena (advisor) ; Novotná, Irena (referee)
Title: Case Report: Physiotherapeutic Treatment of a Patient Diagnosed with a Bimalleolar Ankle Fracture Thesis goal: The goal of this thesis is to present a theoretical outline of a bimalleolar ankle fracture diagnosis and a practical survey of the respective conservative medical treatment. The material and evidence required for these were gathered during a practical training experience in Kladno hospital. Methodology: The theoretical part of this thesis includes theoretical matter from the fields of anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics, traumatology, and types of physiotherapeutic treatment of bimalleolar ankle fracture. The following special part of this thesis discusses the methodology, collects anamnesis data and includes the initial kinesiologic check-up on the basis of which a suitable therapy and a short-term physiotherapeutic schedule was designed. This part of the thesis further consists of an account of individual therapeutic procedures and of the final kinesiologic check-up which is compared to the initial check-up. In conclusion, there follows an argumentation of the efficiency of the chosen physiotherapeutic methods. Key words: physiotherapy, case report, ankle joint, fracture

Title: Casuistry of physiotherapy care for patients diagnosed with lumboischiadic syndrome with S1 radicular irritation. Objective: Acquisition of theoretical knowledge of kinesiology, functional and structural failures of lumbar spine and physiotherapy approaches used in this issue. In a special section has been selected to develop a case study patient during work placements. Method: The general part of bachelors thesis contains a theoretical knowledge of kinesiology lumbar spine, as well as disorders of the axial system and diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to the back pain issue. The practical part includes the case of a patient diagnosed with the syndrome lumboischiadic S1 irritation. Results: Alleviate pain, improve overall fitness and mental condition. Conclusion: Indications of physiotherapy in patients with lumboischiadic syndrome proved beneficial in terms of overall improvement of health of the patient. Key words: lumboischiadic syndrome, radicular syndrome, back pain, disc herniation, rehabilitation.
Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with posttraumatic paresis n. peroneus communis dx.
Havlíčková, Andrea ; Novotná, Irena (advisor) ; Kozáková, Alena (referee)
Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of patient with the posttraumatic paresis n. peroneus communis dx. Objectives: Gain of theoretical knowledge about peripheral paresis, especially peripheral paresis n. peroneus communis dx. Subsequent case study formulation of patient with selected diagnosis made during coherent scholarly practice. Methods: The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis contains theoretical knowledge about anatomy of peripheral nervous system of the lower extremities, the clinical image of the peripheral paresis ane the treatment with sequential therapy. Results: Increase of muscle strenght in weakened muscels, improvement of movement range, elimination of reflective changes and restoration of joint play. Conclusion: Indikation of physiotherapy is very important in the treatment of peripheral paresis. Keywords: peripheral paresis, n.peroneus, physiotherapy
Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of the fracture of the distal antebrachium
Mašková, Klára ; Novotná, Irena (advisor) ; Kozáková, Alena (referee)
Titel: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of the fracture of the distal antebrachium Goals: The goal of this thesis is to summerize theoretical and practical information about fracture of distal antebrachium, to peruse sources of this problems and to concieve adequate therapy. Methods: The theoretical part is describing anatomy and functional kinesiology of the antebrachium and hand, then fractures of the distal antebrachium. The thesis considers mostly conservative treatment, complications of treatment and following therapy. The practical part is the describing aplication of gained theoretical knowledges about concrete diagnosis. It contains incoming kineziological assessment and conclusion, which makes short- term rehabilitation plan. This part is also decribing the process of therapeutical units, outcoming kineziological assessment and final evaluation of the therapy. Key words: antebrachium, hand, accident, physiotherapy
