This thesis is focused on an analysis of the XY company. The financial health of the company is evaluated by using external and internal analysis of the company’s environment and financial analysis of the company. On the basis of the gained findings and facts, further proposals and steps towards improvement of its financial situation are determined. The thesis provides an integrated view on the field of the financial analysis from the perspective of theoretical methods including practical applications for the particular company.

Design of Information System for Customer Support

The bachelor thesis pays attention to the proposal of a system supporting the service and customer services. In its first chapter, the thesis describes the key field for customer services, their supply and usage, Furthermore, it speaks about the system of call centres, their types, possibilities and function. The next part submits an analysis of the existing situation in the service network and equipment of a particular company, the second part of the thesis includes a proposal of the complete system to solve the customer support from the point of view of the end users and the service partners. In the evaluating and concluding part, it focuses on the applicability of the system, its implementation and contributions.

Design of E-shop for the Sale of Electronic Cigarettes

The content of this bachelor’s thesis is to design the e-shop for the sale of electronic cigarettes. It provides an overview how to purchase the e-shop and focuses especially on open-source systems, which are valuated and compared on the base of the analysis. In the practical part of this thesis is the creation of the e-shop, its redesign, product registration, order statuses system and primarily the benefit of own solutions, such as evidence of regular prices for the products and their combinations, purchaser’s age verification, module to complete the billing information and complete change of invoices.

This thesis examines IT systems within a chosen firm and establishes recommendations for improvement. The first part of the thesis presents theoretical background and foundation of the matter in question, while the second part introduces the reader into the chosen firm and the analysis of its IT systems. The last third part concludes with the recommendations for improvement, which aim to increase the efficacy of the firm’s IT systems and eliminate the systems’ weaknesses and constraints.
