Application of GIS in water management in Dobříšsko
Hladíková, Lenka ; Grill, Stanislav (referee) ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor)
Application of GIS in water management in Dobříšsko Abstract This thesis deals with the use of the geoinformation systems (GIS) in water management. The change of water resources (river network, water areas and wetlands) in Dobříšsko region over the last 150 years is analyzed here. This analysis was processed by using historical maps of the 2nd military mapping, 3rd military mapping, maps of the General Staff of the Czechoslovak army from the 1950s of the 20th century and the current database of hydrological and water management data called DIBAVOD. Then the issue of water accumulation in the region is solved by using hydrological tools provided by the software ArcGIS 9.3. All created data are stored in a geodatabase and they will serve for needs of a company Vodohospodářská společnost Dobříš. Keywords: GIS, water management, hydrologic modelling
Possibilities of interpolating lakes basins of various genetic types
Kuchařová, Jana ; Štych, Přemysl (referee) ; Šobr, Miroslav (advisor)
The goal of this work is to try to find the most suitable interpolation method for particular types of lake basins. The chosen lakes for this objective are Prášilské, Laka, Čimice and Labiště pod Opočínkem. The main ambition of this work is to use software counting of interpolation methods instead of counting by hand. As much as possible interpolation methods will be used to reach the most accurate outcome and to set the most feasible method for each lake. The same interpolation methods will be used for each bathymetric profile, but one suitable method is not supposed to be found for all the types of lake basins.
Analysis of barrier-free accessibility of the center of Prague using GIS
Rosová, Eva ; Štych, Přemysl (referee) ; Hudeček, Tomáš (advisor)
Analysis of barrier-free accessibility of the centre of Prague using GIS Abstract The objective of this bachelor thesis is to compare and analyse by using GIS the urban area of Prague in point of view of accessibility with barrier-free transport. The first part of this work contains analysis of current situation of barrier-free accessibility in Prague. In the next part of this thesis is described the method of creating maps, which comes from interpolation of spatial point features. There are established areas not barrier-free accessible on the map. The map includes routing of all means of the public transportation as well as designation their terminals. Keywords: time accessibility, interpolation, barrier-free transport, Prague, urban mass transportation
High temporal satellite data assimilation for vegetation spectral characteristic assignment
Malíková, Lucie ; Langhammer, Jakub (referee) ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor)
The application of high temporal satellite image data for designation of the spectral characteristic of vegetation Abstract The objektive of this paper is to evaluate possibilities of high temporal satellite data assimilation for continuous monitoring of the spectral characteristic of vegetation. There is also given the suggestion of metodology for processing MERIS data and for continuous monitoring of spectral characteristic of landscape objects. Finally, vegetation cover database for the Czech Republic in the year 2009 is created from sectorial analysis. In the paper there is used the LSU classification and thresholding of vegetation indicies histograms. The universal decision algorithm for classification of vegetation landscape component are described and particular thresholding values for the year 2009 given. The finally product of this paper is Czech vegetation cover database for the year 2009 with overall accuracy of 63,35 %. Accuracy for forest is even over 80 %. Analysis of the accessibility of elementary schools in the Czech Republic since 1961
Mattern, Tomáš ; Hudeček, Tomáš (referee) ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor)
Analysis of the accessibility of elementary schools in the Czech Republic since 1961 Abstract The aim of this paper is to analyze the development of accessibility to elementary schools in the Czech Republic since 1961 by the personal car transport using network analysis. In addition, the paper also evaluates the development to elementary schools by public transport. The first part summarizes the available literature about those issues. The second part presents the source data and analysis metodology. Most of the analysis is performed by GIS ArcGIS 9.3. The last part presents the analysis results. It was found that the accessibility of complete elementary schools has improved in the period and the accessibility of all elementary schools has deteriorated. This applies to the accessibility by personal car transport and by public transport.
Analysis of long-term changes of vegetation indices
Beránková, Petra ; Jedlička, Jan (referee) ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor)
The work deals with the issue of research of long-term changes of vegetation indices concretely indices NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index). The first part is devoted to detailed analysis of domestic and foreign literature, which deals with the calculation and interpretation of vegetation indices values. The main theme of this work is to explore relation between temperature and NDVI changes and precipitation and NDVI changes over the period 1982-2006. These connections are examined using correlation and regression analysis. Attention is concentrated to the Czech Republic, Central Europe and Finland. The average value of NDVI in Central Europe increased over the study period of 0,0012 per year. The average value of NDVI in Czech Republic increased of 0,0014 per year. On the territory of the Czech Republic increased the value of NDVI in three seasons (spring, autumn and winter). In the summer, in some areas, decreased NDVI values. Correlation coefficients between NDVI and temperature and NDVI and precipitation appeared consistently the highest in the spring. Keywords: NDVI, vegetation indices, temperature, precipitation, Central Europe, Czech Republic
Monitoring of water eutrofization in model reservoir of Czech republic by remote sensing data
Běhounová, Petra ; Kupková, Lucie (referee) ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor)
Present study compares possibilities of monitoring water eutrophication in the Czech republic using remote sensing. The theoretical part describes basic spectral characteristics of water and their change caused by eutrophication. Chlorophyll-a was chosen as the quantitative indicator of trophic rate. Methods of obtaining value of chlorophyll-a content from scanner TM and ETM+ Landsat satellite data and from in situ measurements data are described. Three regression equations, that employ variety of channels or channel ratios of Landsat data were utilized. The regression equations were applied on three satellite images of model area of Vltava's steps (water reservoirs of Lipno, Hnevkovice, Korensko and Orlík) from the years 2001, 2004 and 2007. The regression equation ln(chl-a) = a.TM2 + b.TM3 + c.TM4 +d gives the best results, where the determination coefficient varies from 0,245 to 0,422. Maps showing distribution of chlorophyll-a concentration in water reservoir Lipno and in the part of water reservoir Orlík were created based on obtained results. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
