Title: Individual contestant competence level participating winter and summer survival courses. Objectives: The major aim of this work is to determine at what level of potential course participants' is knowledge of winter and summer survival. Knowledge of related skills associated with survival in extreme conditions and crisis situatuions. For this thesis we chose students from Faculty of Physical Education and Sport and other students from Charles University since summer and winter survival cource is also opened to students from other faculties of Charles University Methods: For data acquisition to this work we used the questionnaire method. Respondents were students aculty of Physical Education and Sport, Faculty of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Arts and The First Medical Faculty. To get 100% questionaire return, the questionaire was assigned personaly. Results: The questionnaire survey was attended by 70 respondents overall. Data we collected, we wrote down in tables and graphs. The results from the evaluation of individual questions showed that knowledge levels associated with survival in critical situations is low. Only 33% of the total amount of students who completed the survey, were successfull. Keywords: survival, limit situations, crisis situations

3 Abstract Title of a document: The threat of terrorism Aim of a document: 1) Brief history of terrorism in the close historical overview of key periods in terms of negotiations, who bearing signs of terrorist acts. 2) Clearly classify most famous terrorist groups. 3) To map and analyse the awareness members of the Police of the Czech Republic about possible threats arising from terrorism. 4) Map their awareness possibility of eliminating any consequences arising in this context. Method: In the first part of this work will be used to study historical procedures will be interpreted and assessed the effect of the present (HENDL J, 1997)-zoom the timeline the most important leaders of the terrorist acts. Exploring method and theoretical studies (HENDL J, 1997) will be described in other parts of the current state of most terrorist groups and threats resulting from this. In the second part will be carried out with use of the operational methods of empirical collection and subsequent evaluation of the quantitative data in a standardized questionnaire drawn up by the appropriate anonymous a logical sequence, to clarify the set of hypotheses and objectives. Title: 100 m hurdle race women in fire sport. Objectives: A description of the discipline of 100 m hurdle race women and a description of rendition technique from the methodical point of view is the main objective of this work. Methods: A descriptive method and a video record analysis were used in this work. Each phases are slowed-motion and retroactive described. Results: It`s a methodical description of the discipline with the video record and it will be used for coaching purposes for beginning and also advanced racers. Work name: The analysis of the Health Rescue Service City of Prag trips for the period 2007 - 2009 Aim of work: The aim of this work is to describe and assess by graphs the analysis of the Health Rescue Service City of Prag trips in Prag for the period 2007 - 2009. Further to classify its historical progress, describe its current state including the modern equipment and also describe access of resuscitations for the same period. Method: In this work a method of data collection from avaiable literature of the Health Rescue Service City of Prag is used as well as the consultation with experienced rescue workers and people who work on the operation centre and who are processing the data and statistics of the Health Rescue Service City of Prag trips. Results: The result of this work is the graphical representation of the single trips for the urgent life - threatening events and their subsequent comparison for the period 2007 - 2009. Thesis's Topic: The Activity Analysis of Rescue of Královehradecký kraj, station Trutnov 2006-2009 Aim of the thesis: To analyze the operation of the Emergeny Medical Service in Trutnov. Method: Research of available sources, data collection and the cooperation of the members of the Emergency Medical Service coming to the patient. Results: All here listed statistics data are base on intervetion documentation of Trutnov center. Therefore the presented results can't be taken, generalled to other centers and assumed that will be comparable. Role of the Czech Police Divers during Emergencies Due to Natural Disasters

Title of the thesis: Role of the Czech Police Divers during Emergencies Due to Natural Disasters. Objective: Evaluation and comparison of information and feedback from qualified divers with existing methodology of training (methodical directive) focusing on development of above-standard skills that can be utilized by deployment of these specialists during innundations and floods. Method: Model has been devised based on collection of data acquired by personal questioning of specialists, diving instructors of Ministry of Internal Affairs - Czech Police and Fire brigades. As well, use has been made of valuable information gained by personal participation of the above diving specialists in a number of emergencies where they took action in. Results: Results point out to drawbacks of training methodology of the current Czech Police mandatory directive for diving, and possible incorporation of newly acquired facts focusing on wider utilization of professional divers during natural disasters.
