This part also generally characterizes a low- threshold center as well as a therapeutic community and addictological counseling. In this passage, we can find a summarization of the experinces acquired from the field working with a client. The practical part is built on the field work of which final outputs are based on interviews with a clearly defined structure with complementary answers. The bachelor thesis aims to reveal opportunities and threats of a client when he/she struggles to recover. Importance of aftercare in emotional intelligence for clients addicted to alcohol
Jokešová, Aneta ; Richterová-Těmínová, Martina (advisor) ; Kuda, Aleš (referee)
1 Abstract BACKGROUND: Research shows that people addicted to alcohol have less ability to control emotions, empathy and responsibility. Self-awarneness and work on personality is an integral part of the recovery process and return to a satysfying life. Aftercare goals are to reduce or eliminate the risks leading to relapse and also to strengthen the factors to maintain abstinence, which also include emotional stability, insight and self-awareness. AIMS: The main aim is to describe the importance of aftercare in the field of emotional entelligence for two clients of the opposite gender attending to group therapy in the organisation Anima in year 2016. Describe their perception of emotions, adressed topics, goals and focus on relationships. METHODS: The study is conducted qualitatively, in the form of a case study, for deeper exploration of clients. Information has been obtained by semi-structured interview, where I focused on emotions, relationships, goals and topics dealt with in the group and the role aftercare played in these areas. The interview was supplemented with written records that are kept every session by a reflective worker in the group therapy. RESULTS: The results of both clients agree on the fact that aftercare is helpful with emotional skills, especially in the sense of self-awareness,...

Psychodynamic aspects of addictological treatment at the day care center- case study
Jeřábková, Zuzana ; Kalina, Kamil (advisor) ; Richterová-Těmínová, Martina (referee)
This work deals with the importance of psychodynamic approaches in practice of a day care center for an addictological treatment. The research core of this thesis are qualitative case analyses with a comment on the etiology of the dependency problem (anamnestic analysis revealing uncontrolled or conflicting developmental stages according to E. H. Erikson) and at the same time on the accentuation of the importance of psychodynamic approaches in routine clinical practice, which focuses primarily on good nonverbal interventions (i.e. an authentic technique using stones, an art therapy, nonverbal techniques) and transference phenomena. The aim of this thesis is to understand an individual case through selected psychoanalytic theories and to describe the key therapeutic interventions leading to curing an addicted person using an ambulant addiction treatment. For this particular research I chose a qualitative approach. I processed five clients' life stories into a set of case studies. Several methods were used to obtain the needed data. The crucial one was a semi-structured interview, then a life curve and a projective method. In each case study, I explained one developmental stage by E. H. Erikson, which I interpreted as crucial for creating and developing an addiction. For the data analysis, I used a...
Trauma in Childhood among women using addictive substances
Budinská, Blanka ; Richterová-Těmínová, Martina (advisor) ; Kuda, Aleš (referee)
This bachelor work deals with the relations between traumatic experiences in childhood, deficient or dysfunctional family environment and the possible future development of addictive behaviors in women. It turns out that the experience of traumatic events in childhood can cause long-term and sometimes irreversible problem completely. These problems may be based on the circumstances involved in the future addictive behaviors. Based on the stories I have from women in residential treatment or after treatment heard with their consent and also due to the processing of information which I received, I find role in their next life and behavior should or could have this traumatic experience in their childhood.
