The usage of numerical code FLASH in plasma astrophysics

My diploma thesis is focused on the use of numerical computer codes for simulation in plasma astrophysics. They will learn the basic characteristics of the Sun, a closer focus on the solar corona and the solar corona heating problem. The following section is devoted to simulation software in plasma astrophysics, their installing and displaying the results using the visualization software. In the conclusion is demonstrated using this software on a model example and a simulation that performs simulation of impulsively generated waves in solar coronal loops.

Consumer competition in the car workshop segment

This paper deals with description and evaluation of the specific consumer competition implemented by OMV Česká republika, s.r.o. First part is devoted strictly to theory like consumer competition's place within the marketing mix, legal arrangements and tax aspects of the consumer competitions. Practical part commences with introduction of the company OMV Česká republika, s.r.o., continues with analysis of the Czech lubes market and short excursion to European legislation in the field of lubes. Furthermore, the paper introduces EPG (Engine Protection Guarantee) programme implemented by OMV Česká republika, s.r.o., the consumer competition used as support of this programme and also marketing support of the consumer competition. At the end, the paper is evaluating the whole consumer competition.

Development of the USB converter to parallel BUS

The aim of this baccalaureate work is to develop device that converts the USB bus to 16 bit parallel bus. Following text deals with unique problems of communication on USB bus and select solutions of transmission. Furthermore it engages in construction of the own converter, and development of the basic software equipment for communication and control by the PC.

LDA measurement of axial velocity profile in tall vessels with a draught tube

Large tall vessels with a draught tube are used for the mixing of suspensions especially in cases where high homogeneity and heat tranfer are desirable. The article describes flow behaviour of liquid in the vessel with a draught tube. LDA method (Laser Doppler Anemometry) was used for measurement axial velocity profile. The experimental configuration for LDA method was produced by firm DANTEC. Experimental results are compared with numerical simulation and other experiment.
