Design of synchronous spoke motor
Kopecký, Jan ; Bulín, Tomáš (referee) ; Knebl, Ladislav (advisor)
This thesis is focused mainly on the theoretical research of permanent magnet synchronous motors. In addition, various methods of designing the motor‘s magnetic circuit are discussed and their advantages and disadvantages are compared. The reluctance network method is analyzed more thorough, because this method is used for motor designing process. In the last part the results obtained by reluctance network are compared with the results evaluated by finite element method.
Design of linear motor with permanent magnets
Čech, Jan ; Bulín, Tomáš (referee) ; Knebl, Ladislav (advisor)
The first part of this thesis deals with the study of linear motors. The introduction of the thesis deals with the brief description of the linear motor, including its accessories. This part explains principle of linear motors, their general advantages and disadvantages. The next section contains an overview and division of the currently used linear motors. Each type of currently used linear motors is briefly introduced and also its principle and characteristics are described, including its specific application. The second part of the thesis deals with the design of an equivalent magnetic circuit model of a linear iron-core linear motor. Hereafter, the proposed design will be used to simulate the distribution of magnetic flux in the linear motor. The evaluated flux-density distribution in the air gap is later compared with the results obtained with finite element method. The thrust is then calculated from the flux-density and the estimated value is compared with the value listed in datasheet.
Nanoscale phases on surface Fe-6Si magnetic sheets
Švábenská, Eva ; Roupcová, Pavla ; Král, Lubomír ; Bulín, Tomáš ; Vondráček, Martin ; Foldyna, Josef ; Čechal, J. ; Schneeweiss, Oldřich
Analysis of the nanoscale phases which appear on the surface Fe-6Si samples were carried out after the various treatments – grinding and etching, annealing, and water jet abrasion. The basic information on structure, chemical and phase composition was obtained by X-Ray Powder Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy with EDX, Glow Discharge Optical Emission Spectrometry (GDOES), Mössbauer Spectroscopy and X-ray Photoelectron Spectrometry (XPS). The results show high stability of the surface phase composition after the mechanical and heat treatments. Results obtained from the surface analysis in micrometer depth (XRD, EDX, GDOES) do not show any changes after the different treatments. Iron oxides were detected in XPS and conversion electron Mössbauer spectra (CEMS) which analyze the surface composition in a nanometer scale. In addition to, fine changes in atomic ordering on the surface can be observed after mechanical and heat treatments in the CEMS spectra.
Measurement of the magnetic properties of materials using LabVIEW
Šolc, Martin ; Bulín, Tomáš (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
In this thesis LabVIEW program and its development environment is described. After that the most used current transducers, their working principles and their properties are analyzed. Next part is dedicated to curves of magnetic hysteresis of ferromagnetic materials. Practical part of bachelor´s thesis is dedicated to measuring BH curves of torroidal core transformer. The measuring was made possible by LabVIEW program, using digital integration in LabVIEW, analog integration with RC cell, voltage converter and current transducer ITN 12-P Ultrastab. In the last part of the bachelor´s thesis I evaluate the measurements.
INFLUENCE OF LASER CUTTING AND PUNCHING ON MAGNETIC PROPERTIES\nOF ELECTRICAL STEEL M470-50A
Bulín, Tomáš ; Švábenská, Eva ; Hapla, Miroslav ; Ondrůšek, Č. ; Schneeweiss, Oldřich
Electrical steel M470-50A belongs to the most often used materials in electrical machines. Due to this fact, it is desirable to know the magnetic parameters after processing raw sheets into the required shape. Basic parameters of mechanical, electrical, and magnetic properties of the sheets are usually obtained from the producer but the magnetic properties are changing in dependence on additional machining processes. The aim of this study is to describe changes in parameters of magnetic behavior after punching, laser and spark cutting of the original sheets. The basic information of structure was obtained by optical and scanning electron microscopy. The magnetic parameters were acquired from the measuring of magnetic hysteresis loops in dependence on saturation fields and frequencies. The results are discussed from the point of view of applied\ncutting technology with the aim to obtain the best magnetic parameters and consequently a higher efficiency of the final product. Results can be used as input parameters in simulation of the electrical machine.
Current transducer's characteristics
Čížek, Ondřej ; Bulín, Tomáš (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis are described all used current transducers, the way of their function and at each of them are described their properties. After that is described program LabVIEW and measurement, which happened by using it with specialization on frequency characteristics and their evaluation.
Simulation of micro hydro power plant with induction generator
Felcan, Matúš ; Bulín, Tomáš (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
The main focus of this work is understanding the importance of induction machines of small hydropower plants . Their principles and applications in practice. The use of asynchronous generators connected to the grid and in island mode. Created a literature search for hydropower plants and dynamic model of induction generator. Appropriately selected program Matlab to simulate asynchronous generators connected to the grid and also in the island mode.
Automatic measurement of induction machine using LabVIEW
Halfar, Lukáš ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Bulín, Tomáš (advisor)
The main purpose of the thesis Automatic measurement of induction machine using LabVIEW was to develope an automated measuring system, which is used to perform tests of induction motors. The algorithm of the system is programmed in LabVIEW. In the practical part of this thesis, a measurement of the motor Atas Elektromotory Náchod a.s. T22VT512 is carried out, in order to verificate functions of the algorithm, and to perform tests of the motor to analyse losses. Another part of the work is dedicated to the electromagnetic calculation of the motor T22VT512. For this purpose, two softwares with different principles of calculation have been used. Firstly, the calculation is solved by an analytical based software called RMxprt. Secondly, the software Maxwell 2D is used to make the calculation of electric and magnetic fields by the finite element method.
Control of BLDC motor at LabVIEW
Bulín, Tomáš ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
The aim of my thesis is to become familiar with the program LabVIEW, CompactRIO platform and features it offers to control BLDC engine. A comprehensive program from National Instruments LabVIEW is used in a wide range of industrial applications ranging from measurement of electrical signals, data collection, automation of the measurement, to the control of various engines and applications. In addition, the program renews itself every year and as each new version comes with many new enhancements that improve its functionality even more. It use to actual control the CompactRIO platform, in which is loaded a program created to control the application. The main advantage is that the user has the option to modify the program according to their needs and he don’t have to send his applications to the manufacturer for each change in the source code of control program. CompactRIO caters to not only control your own applications, but is also able to measure the values needed to run the program.
The Influence of Secondary Exposure on Total Turnover
Bulín, Tomáš ; Jarošová, Petra (referee) ; Černohorská, Lenka (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the increase in sales of wholesale organizations in following up on its retail stores. Work structure is made from theoretical part which is taking part in definition basic ideas and characteristic of issues related to increasing sales in their own retails. The authors own contribution is dedicated to the analysis of the present state of activities involved in the wholesale organisation in relation to suppliers and customers in connection with the sale in its own retail stores. On the basis of these data are carried out practical proposals, so that led to the increase in turnover in the wholesale market, thanks to its own stores with regard to the current state of the organization.
