V klinické části se zabývám anatomickým úvodem, popisuji klinický obraz onemocnění, vyšetřovací metody vedoucí ke stanovení diagnózy, uvádím formy onemocnění, základní informace o nemocné a průběhu její hospitalizace.

In my thesis, I have presented a case study of the patient who had suffered myocardial infarction. The nursing process and the care plan were based on the information received from the patient, her son and all nursing staff. Other information was derived from documentation of the client and current proffesional literature. In clinical part of my work I address anatomy of heart and its layers, coronary circulation and cardiac conduction system. I also provided the definition of AMI and then focused on pathology and pathophysiology. I included the classification of myocardial infarction and its risk factors, clinical picture, diagnostics and treatment which is divided in prehospitalization care, hospital and the treatment of the patients after discharge from hospital. Because the client was indicated for aortocoronary bypass, I mentioned it as well.
