Title: Case Study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after brain stroke Objective: Gain a theoretical knowledge about etiology, clinical symptoms, stages of disease, localization of haemorrhage and the following therapeutic methods. Method: The general part of the bachelor thesis contains theoretical knowledge about etiology, clinical symptoms, stages of disease, localization of haemorrhage and the following therapeutic methods. The practical part contains casuistry of the patient after the brain vascular stroke. Results: Light improvement of motivity and walk stability. During the therapy came to connection affected extremity to complex moves and symetric loading of lower extremities. Conclusion: Indication of physiotherapy of a patient after appeared highly active in the way of whole state health improvement. Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with lumboischiadic syndrome with radicular irritation S1

Title: Casuistry of physiotherapy care for patients diagnosed with lumboischiadic syndrome with S1 radicular irritation. Objective: Acquisition of theoretical knowledge of kinesiology, functional and structural failures of lumbar spine and physiotherapy approaches used in this issue. In a special section has been selected to develop a case study patient during work placements. Method: The general part of bachelors thesis contains a theoretical knowledge of kinesiology lumbar spine, as well as disorders of the axial system and diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to the back pain issue. The practical part includes the case of a patient diagnosed with the syndrome lumboischiadic S1 irritation. Results: Alleviate pain, improve overall fitness and mental condition. Conclusion: Indications of physiotherapy in patients with lumboischiadic syndrome proved beneficial in terms of overall improvement of health of the patient. Its general part informs about basic knowledge of knee, about the most common diseases and physiotherapeutical approaches which are being used for patiens with total knee replacement. Special part of this thesis describes case study of a patient with total knee replacement. This case study was worked out during special practice in ÚVN in Prague, Střešovice since 13th January 2011 to 3rd Ferbruary 2011.

Foot Arch in Childhood

Kateřina Kellerová Title: Foot Arch in Childhood Problem definition: The most often diagnosis related to the foot arch in childhood is definitely flexible flat foot also called pes planovalgus. Because of that this thesis will be mostly oriented on this diagnosis. There are many articles about flexible flat foot and many studies were oriented on this problem. The informations about etiology, influencing factors or therapy are sometimes discordant in different articles. But almost all of them contain one same statement which says that the prevalence of this diagnosis is decreasing as the foot arch is changing during the child's growth. It means in older children there is not flexible flat foot so often as in the younger ones. But there is no detailed description of the dynamics of these changes of the foot arch in childhood. Aim of this thesis: The aim of this thesis is to find out the development of the foot arch in children of pre-school age. In other words to run the survey to find out the changes of the foot arch in children of pre-school age which occurs in six months. Method: The survey contains anamnesis questionnare for parents and also these examinations: footprints, examination of joint laxity, mobility of hip joint, position of knee, patellae and heel, Jack's test, posibility...
