Influence of land-use changes on flood regime - simulation using rainfall-runoff model
Buchtele, Josef ; Buchtelová, Marie ; Fořtová, Magda
Deforestation induced by acid rains causes also the changes of runoff process. Data of one experimental basin have been used for simulation which should reveal appearing runoff changes.
Comparision of water balance simulations in catchments with different geomorphological conditions and antropogeneous influence
Buchtele, Josef ; Buchtelová, Marie ; Tesař, Miroslav ; Kulasová, A.
Simulations of rainfall-runoff processes for several basins of different size and climatic conditions show that deterministic hydrological models can be useful tools for evaluation of influence of land-use changes on water balance. However for such evaluation using differences between simulated and observed runoff also other analyses (using different time scales and/or statistical methods) are needed, especially when the changes are successive.
Rainfall-runoff modelling in different hydrogeologic environments
Buchtele, Josef ; Buchtelová, Marie
Simulations of runoff components and sub-surface water storages, using SAC-SMA model, have been carried out for basins in two areas in the Bohemian massif with quite distinct hydrogeological conditions: one is the area with crystalline bedrocks in south Bohemia, the other one belongs to Cretaceous area in north-eastern part of Bohemia. Results show that hydrogeological conditions are important for variability of storage and consequently of outflows. Variability of simulated sub-surface water storages in one basin in Cretaceous also indicate that agrometeorogical and hydrological droughts do not need to appear simultaneously.
