Production automation of transformer components based on industrial robot
Procházka, Petr ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis focuses on the automate process of primary transformer´s soldering. My work is to assess proceedings that guarantee that tolerances given by the controlling company shall be as accurate as possible. Final version of the product is modified in such a way to meet a size criterion as well as strength, anti-corrosion, space and price standards. The final version of the product is tested by the robot during the process. The main task is the verification of the size stability during the operation. One of the point of my bachelor´s thesis is to descripe a plan of automate workplace. The main reason for designing a plan of automate workplace is to help employees and facilitate from demanding work in the process of primary coil soldering.
Charger for lead-acid batteries
Kopuletý, Ondřej ; Procházka, Petr (referee) ; Ondrejček, Vladimír (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the modification, construction and testing of lead-acid battery chargers. It is described the principle of charging the batteries and individual topology of the switching power supplies. The original schematic diagram is taken from the thesis of Josef Kadlec. Diagrams of a power and control circuit have been modified. The topology of the charger is two switch forward converter with pulse transformer. The charging method is constant voltage with current limiting.
Resistance saw
Kalčík, Petr ; Minárik, Vladimír (referee) ; Procházka, Petr (advisor)
This work is focused on the design and construction of component parts of resistance saw. Mechanical parts consist of a movable bracket and a taut cutting wire of Constantan. Electrical parts are designed to supply and control temperature of the cutting wire. The current intensity in the cutting wire is compared with the required current intensity. The difference of these two measurements is fed into a PI - controller. The next part is a PWM generator which generates the square wave signal. The pulse ratio of this signal is proportional to the required temperature of the cutting wire. This signal switches a switching converter that consists of a power transistor P-MOSFET IRF5210 and a diode MBR20100CT. Choking coil with a ferrite E core and with the cutting wire is connected to the output of the converter.
Low-power electrical sources
Kotásek, Ondřej ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Procházka, Petr (advisor)
In the theoretical section describes the different types of DC / DC converters, which are among the best known. It's a drive with one storage element, decreasing and increasing non-inverting converter, an inverting converter with a common choke and Čuk’s changer. The second part deals with the actual design and implementation of the two input sources for low power. Here are described two main components designed for each circuit. Furthermore, the work to create schematics and PCB in Eagle. Finally, learn how to solder components on the PCB made.
Controllable switching power supply 0-1000 V / 100 W
Hofmann, Oldřich ; Procházka, Petr (referee) ; Martiš, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and construction of a switching power supply with output voltage adjustable from 0 to 1200 V and rated power of 120 W, which will be used to replace the existing high voltage power supply for the irreversible electroporation (IRE) device developed at UVEE FEEC BUT. The thesis focuses on a basic description of the IRE device, a description of usable converter topologies and a selection of the best topology for the required purpose. The selection of the control circuit concept and its design are also integral parts of the thesis. The final part of the thesis contains the assembly of the power supply and the measurement verifying its function.
Drivers for power SiC MOSFET transistors
Vitek, Vojtech ; Vorel, Pavel (referee) ; Procházka, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes gate driving principles of power MOSFET transistors made of silicon carbide material. The autor's aim is describing a different types of gate drivers and basic rules during process of designing gate drivers. In the theoretical part, the author will mount printed circuit board of gate driver designed on UVEE FEKT VUT Brno and verify functionality.
Inverters for photovoltaic power plants
Rusyn, Jevhen ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Procházka, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of laboratory verification of converters for photovoltaic power plants according to the currently valid legal and official regulations and standards. In the thesis, a literature search has been conducted on photovoltaic systems and connection conditions of converters for PV plants. The thesis also focuses on the verification of the characteristics of the RCT Power Tripower DC 6.0 inverter, for which firmware modifications were made to meet the connection conditions of the distribution system operators.
Electrical installation in family house
Tesař, Jan ; Procházka, Petr (referee) ; Ondrejček, Vladimír (advisor)
This Bachelor Thesis is concerned with the design of the electrical installation of a family house. There are two main parts of the thesis – theoretical basis and the main design. In the theoretical part the reader is at first introduced to a powerline section, in which the electrical installation from the powergrid to a terminal equipment is described. Next part is about a low voltage wiring, where the commonly used types of wiring and devices are described. In the third part the reader can read about a lightning protection and its inner and outer parts. The main design consist of situational designs of devices and wiring in the house, switchboard designs, revision of the electrical protection and the technical report.
Power Switching Transistors
Mikláš, Ján ; Procházka, Petr (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
In this thesis, prerequisities for a switching loss measurements are established as well as designing of DC-bus and the base/gate driver for the power transistors; followed by derivation of mathematical approximation of transistor conductivity gCE =iCuCE, circuit simulation using gCE as a transistor model and a discussion of measured waveforms.
Laboratory module for educational purposes
Tuhý, Luboš ; Vašíček, Adam (referee) ; Procházka, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of the transistor inverter to the subject of power electronics first outcome of this thesis will transistorized inverter that will serve as a demonstration tool in laboratory practice course electrical power. The laboratory preparation, students will be able to virtually test your theory acquired knowledge of the issue. Part of the theoretical analysis will be proposed circuit simulation program through classes Spice.
