Polymer nanocomposites seem to be promising systems for solar cell application with polythiophene acting as photosensitizer and charge transport medium. The electrophoretic deposition proved to be suitable method for preparation nanostructured core/shell functional layers. The simplicity, fast operation rate and the possibility of covering surfaces of irregular shape, as well as a good quality of prepared films are the major advantages of the method.

Funkční polymery pro aplikace v solárních článcích

Two alternative systems of polymer based solar cell structures were prepared: 1) based on the acceptor modified .pi.-conjugated polymer and 2) composed of a functional polymer - inorganic semiconductor nanocomposite, and their photoelectrical properties were tested. The simple electrodeposition method, providing a large area heterojunction distributed within a bulk of the polymer nanocomposite, was developed.

Corporate Reporting Solution Implementation, Basic Principles and Solutions in Cognos 8 BI

This thesis is focused on problems of reporting. Its goal is to provide a basic overview of concepts and technologies associated with reporting and demonstrate its unusual use on real-world example of a betting agency. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused primarily on getting insight into the subject. Concepts, basic principles and technologies used for reporting are defined here. In this part the optimal reporting structure is described and also an analysis of current state of the market of commercial reporting tools is prepared. The real-world problem of reporting is described in the practical part. Two exemplary reports are the output. The first analyzes the bet ticket and the other helps determine the courses of bets. On these practical examples there is shown the development consecution of the report from its business submission, business structure definition, ETL arrangements in IBM InfoSphere DataStage, development of the report using IBM Cognos 8 BI toolkit, till the analysis of the final report.

Cieľom tejto práce je prísť na výhody a nevýhody používania dátového skladu ako súčasti business intelligence v komerčnej organizácii. Zároveň popisuje jeho zavádzanie a optimálne používanie z pohľadu užívateľov, aplikácií, ktoré títo užívatelia používajú, a v stručnosti predstavuje datamining. Takisto sa v práci zmieňuje krátka história vzniku dátových skladov a načrtnutie trendov, ktoré budú v budúcnosti najviac ovplyvňovať priamo alebo nepriamo vývoj dátových skladov. Práca je vhodná pre študentov, ktorí sa chcú dozvedieť niečo viac o reálnom fungovaní dátového skladu alebo pre organizácie, ktoré rozmýšľajú o zavedení dátového skladu.
