Attitude of Trained Nurse Towards a Possibility of Academic Study

The diploma work deals with an attitude of trained nurses to a current possibility of studying nursing care at university and gaining graduation degree from a university. The main aim of the diploma work is to find out a current attitude of trained nurses towards academic study of nursing care and to survey readiness of nurses to study at a college. Another aim is to evaluate extension of support for academic study of ward nursing staff of the part of ward and head nurses. The work is conceived as theoretic-practical. In the theoretic part I summarized the initial state of nurse education up to the current transformation nursing care educational system in our country. The other part is exploring. I compare the attitude of trained nurses from general and teaching hospitals towards a possibility of gaining graduation.degree from university. Concurrently I want to show the point of view of head and ward nurses from teaching and general hospitals of academic education of the nursing staff. Relation between a doctor and a nurse

This dissertation is meant to be both theoretical and empirical, focused on characterization of a relation between a doctor and a nurse, and on an ascertainment of doctors' attitude towards nurses. A man's position and functioning inside a group is defined in the theoretical part from a sociology point of view. A special attention is paid to social conditions of work as well as problems of social contacts among people. A doctor's and nurse's occupation is assessed here from a historical point of view as well. The main emphasis is laid upon describing a relation between a doctor and a nurse. I described here a mutual relation between the two groups including possible interactions between them from a gender point of view. Reasons of possible conflicts between doctors and nurses are given here. A description and a possibility of a due communication among medical staff and a strategy of an improvement of their mutual relation is another necessary part. A research part of the dissertation is focused on an ascertainment of doctors' attitude towards nurses. The goal of the submitted thesis is to analyze the formation and the evolution of the labor union "Profesní a odborová unie zdravotnických pracovníků Čech, Moravy a Slezska", which associates medical auxiliary staff in Czech Republic in the historical context of the unions development. The thesis describes the structure, organization, activities of expert sections and basic departments and cooperation with other unions. It analyze unions related law acts. The thesis also investigates the level of the knowledgeableness of medical workers about activities and purpose of the basic trade union department in the hospital they are working.
Social competence of a head nurse

This thesis is focused on a personality of head nurse, especially her manners and leadership of the team of nurses. Theoretical part presents the position and the work of head nurse, from the view of social kompetence. It descibes, how manner and communicated with nurses, how ovoid of blunders by the leadership of nurses and how help to satisfaction of her nurses. The research part evaluates results of the research by the 189 head nurses. The research was exekute of the questionnaire and investigated the opinions on social competence and leadership of head nurses. The results of the research expose, that the majority of head nurses consider social competence as important.
