Specifics of Senior Citizen Education and Possible Approaches in Their Education Process

Bachelor thesis Specifics of Senior Citizen Education and Possible Approaches in Their Education Process is concerned with the education of seniors and possible approaches in their activation. The aim is to provide a comprehensive view of education of seniors in the broader context of a naturally talk about aging and old age as a part of our lives. It deals with definition of terms relating to the issue of seniors, summarizes approaches to education in the past and presents contemporary trends.
It refers to the fact anchoring requirement seniors' education in Czech and international documents and describes the specifics that senior education entails. In the end of one of the largest organizations in Prague (Life 90), which offers seniors active leisure. The practical part is focused on qualitative research case studies treating the elderly who attend the Day care centers in Life 90 interview with the head of this center.
Case reports represent an incentive for older persons themselves to education and an interview with a senior center closer to the action manager, which provides educational activities for seniors and they are in daily contact.

The Impact of Unemployed Education on Their Applicability in the Labour Market

This bachelor thesis examines the impact of unemployed education on their applicability in the labour market. The theoretical section delimits the basic terms concerning unemployment and describes its development and state of present-day in the Czech Republic, especially focusing on the South Bohemian Region. Afterwards it summarizes possibilities of unemployment education a characterizes demands of labour market in the region in question. It informs as well about former projects for the unemployed in the South Bohemian Region funded by the European Social Fund.
The aim of this thesis is attained in the practical section through several case studies, where five stories of clients who participate on some project for the unemployed in the South Bohemia are described. For each of these clients there are personal and family analyses and the situation in the labour market before the beginning of project. Using an interview method, reasons contributing to taking part in the project, educational activities attended and skills acquired during it, and finally the impacts of this education on clients' applicability in the labour market and their personal development from the long-term view are discussed.

Adolescents Opinions and Attitudes of Selected Area of Risky Behaviour

This Thesis entitled "The opinions and attitudes of adolescents on a selected area of risk behavior" has been written as a description of aggression and bullying. The basic concepts are defined and important theories of risk behavior are described, also the possibility of solution of problems with behavior is described here. Aggressiveness and aggression, the causes and the solving of aggression that all contains risk behavior. A significant part of this thesis is devoted to bullying. The practical part of thesis is based on a quantitative survey, which determines the view of students of Secondary school for teaching, hotels and services in Litomerice on the topic of bullying and aggression in behavior. In conclusion are presented the results of the survey.

Pupils Opinions about Selected Area of Risky Behaviour at Secondary Vocational Schools

The aim of the thesis "Pupils opinions about selected area of risky behaviour at secondary vocational schools" is to ascertain the views of pupils at secondary vocational schools tobacco use and the deficiencies found propose appropriate changes in the primary prevention program.
The theoretical part was prepared on the basis of the findings from available literature, mainly targeting high-risk behavior - namely smoking, addiction and prevention. The practical part was prepared on the basis of outputs of quantitative and qualitative investigation. The quantitative survey was carried out through a questionnaire surfy. Qualitative survey used interviews with prevention methodology to three selected secondary vocational schools.
Based on these findings it was recommended active involvement of pupils in prevention activities in education, raise awareness about the harmful effects of smoking and urge compliance with the ban on smoking in the school building and its immediate vicinity.

Career Guidance at Secondary Schools

The bacelor thesis which is named Career guidance at secondary schools is divided in theoretical and practical parts.
The theoretical part is aimed at career guidance itself, how it is defined and how it works not only in education department. There is described history, development and the current condition of career guidance. This part reffered also to whom the career guidance is inteded and which abilities and skills a career consultant has to have.
The practical part describes the attitudes and opinions of approached students who study secondary vocational schools and grammar schools. A questionnaire survey checks the research questios which were set at first.
The research says that schools do not get help to their students with choice of career enough. But this is a benefit for students because they learn independence which they will need in labour market.

The self-coaching course for undergraduates

The Bachelor Thesis Self-coaching course for undergraduates deals with the method of coaching and its goal is to design, prepare and realize self-coaching course for undergraduates. All based on the interconnection of knowledge in the field of coaching and self-management.
The methods, which were used during the writing of this Bachelor Thesis, were studying of the scientific literature and questionnaire investigation. The theoretical part includes basic characteristic of coaching, coaching tools, introduction to self-coaching, education for adults, preparation and formation of courses for adults with taking account of its target group. The Practical part of the Thesis was to probationary verified particular course designed especially for students of Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. The questionnaire investigation shows that the interest rate had no specific group of students, and most of them met coaching method for the first time. Based on the final evaluation of questionnaires, it is clear that the students were largely satisfied with the course and its content fulfilled their expectations. Students answered that they will try to use any kind of acquired knowledge from the course for their future development. The conclusion summarizes further innovation of the course due to the pilot stage.

The Implementation of Career guidance into the Curriculum of Particular Vocational Secondary School

The bachelor´s thesis is called "Implementation of career counseling in the educational program of a specific secondary school", at theroretical part the thesis inquires the characteristics of career counseling and defines all individual phenomena that affects it. The practical part of this thesis analyzes current rate of career counseling application in a specific secondary school, following by proposal of wider and more effective ways of implementation.
The main goal of this thesis is analyis of the current quality of career counseling in the specific secondary school, which would offer to students more specific and comprehensive information about career counseling, which could be use when entering into the labour market and decision making in the future.

Career Guidance at Secondary Vocational School

Bachelor thesis with title Career Guidance at Secondary Vocational School is about career consultancy on Secondary Vocational School and is divided into theoretical and practical part.
The basic concepts of career consulting will be defined in the theoretical part. There will be briefly described its history and evolution. There will be also described a system of career consulting in the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The description of part of the current legislation included.
It asks whom career consulting should serve to. The goals, steps (phases) and an important components of career consulting will be explained.
In the practical part was done quantitative questionnaire survey between pupils of choosen secondary school, which was focused on subconscious mind of pupils about career consultancy. Next three interviews with two teachers were done. With Ing.arch. David Bartoš, Ing. Petr Lorez, Csc. and with educational consultant Mgr. Dagmar Svobodová.
Based on both surveys were designed recomendations for improvement of career consultancy on choosen secondary specialized school.

The Analysis of Career Counseling at Selected Universities

Bachelor thesis titled Analysis of career counseling at selected universities is focused on the activities and services that are used by career centers of universities for consult their students and for mutual comparisons service career centers at selected universities in Prague.
Based on qualitative research, using semi-structured interview with staff from chosen career centers, were obtained data analyzed and compared on the basis of which it was possible to recommend process for improving the services of chosen career centers.
