Office Software - Application and Selection
Havlíček, Jakub ; Jelínek, Jiří (advisor) ; Jiroušek, Radim (referee)
This thesis is focused on Office Software. You can possibly find it in every area of human influence, where a computer is available - at work, science and research, education, at public places such as a library. However not everybody knows how to use a specific Office Software, which possibilities it provides and if it is effectively used.
Analysis of Corruption in the Czech Republic
Dubovec, Petr ; Pokorný, Pavel (advisor) ; Jiroušek, Radim (referee)
This work will describe and analyze corruption. Corruption has been described from legal point of view. This work has furthermore analyed rationality of the corruption through his utility and strategic decisions in game theory. Finally the legislative intentions of the future government and its evaluetion of the non-profit organization are taken into account.
Multidimensional Probability Distributions: Structure and Learning
Bína, Vladislav ; Jiroušek, Radim (advisor) ; Vomlelová, Marta (referee) ; Řezanková, Hana (referee)
The thesis considers a representation of a discrete multidimensional probability distribution using an apparatus of compositional models, and focuses on the theoretical background and structure of search space for structure learning algorithms in the framework of such models and particularly focuses on the subclass of decomposable models. Based on the theoretical results, proposals of basic learning techniques are introduced and compared.
A Note on Factorization of Belief Functions
Jiroušek, Radim ; Shenoy, P. P.
The paper compares two main types of factorization of belief functions (one based on the Dempster´s rule of combination, the other based on the operator of composition) and shows that both the approaches are equivalent to each other in case of unconditional factorization and shows what are the differences when overlapping factorization is studied.
O kombinačních a kompozičních operátorech v Demster-Shaferově teorii
Jiroušek, Radim ; Vejnarová, Jiřina
Dempster´s rule of combination is compared with the so called operator of composition, which is in theory of compositional models used for multidimensional model construction. Second part of the paper is devoted to a new way of definition of the notion of conditional independence withing the studied theoretical framework.
Kompozicionální modely domněnkvých funkcí
Jiroušek, Radim ; Vejnarová, Jiřina ; Daniel, Milan
After it has been successfully done in probability and possibility theories, the paper is the first attempt to introduce the operator of composition also for belief functions. We prove that the proposed definition preserves all the necessary properties of the operator enabling us to define compositional models as an efficient tool for multidimensional models representation.
Podmíněná nezávislost ve věrohodnostních funkcích: Příklady
Jiroušek, Radim
The paper presents an additional possibility how to define conditional independence relation for belief functions. The approach is based on the operator of composition originally designed for multidimensional model processing. Not to make confusion with the preceding definitions we call this relation conditional irrelevance. In the paper examples illustrating properties of this relation are presented.
Ocenění výzkumu metod porovnávání textových řetězců s ceníky počítačových komponent
Jiroušek, Radim ; Kratochvíl, Václav ; Kroupa, Tomáš ; Lněnička, Radim ; Studený, Milan ; Vomlel, Jiří ; Hampl, P. ; Hamplová, H.
The paper presents new results of experimental research on string similarity measures on pricelists of computer components. The first results were already presented at the Eighth Czech-Japan Seminar on Data Analysis and Decision Making under Uncertainty in Třešť.
Perfektní posloupnosti: příspěvek ke studiu strukturálních vlastností modelů podmíněné nezávislosti
Kleiter, G. D. ; Jiroušek, Radim
The paper shows how the properties of perfect sequences can be employed in learning independence models. The concept of a sink - usually defined in directed graphs only - is generalized to essential graphs and perfect sequences. A method that finds the number of labelings of a given unlabeled essential graph is described. The impact with respect to structuring the model space and learning the structure of models is discussed.
O efektivním algoritmu pro marginalizaci v kompozicionálních modelech
Bína, V. ; Jiroušek, Radim
The paper presents the necessary theoretical background and a brief description of an effective algorithm for marginalization in multidimensional compositional models.
