Thermoelectric cell (TC)
Přidal, Oldřich ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
This thesis is parted to several sections. Firstly is dealt about problems of measuring temperature with thermocouple sensors. Secondly are described basic principles of thermoelectric modules and resistance temperature detectors. Thirdly is written about design and realization of workplace for BMFV, MSNV and MMNV classes. Finally is shown results of experimental measurement.
Optical Fiber Sensors
Krejsa, Jan ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on optical fiber sensors with detailed preview of the turbidity sensor, its design and testing. The introduction deals with the general theory of fiber sensors and measurement methodology of physical variables. This part is followed by a charter focusing on the possible ways of measuring turbidity. Furthermore, the diploma thesis introduces design of the new turbidity sensor which is realized with consideration of the industrial usage and future application to the automated process of beer production. It also includes a detailed description of the hardware and software sensors created within this thesis. The last section is devoted to a calibration and testing functionality of turbidity sensor.
Inductive Sensors
Šimberský, Michal ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with inductive sensors. The thesis introduced the history of sensors, their advantages and disadvantages over other types of sensors. There are described different types of inductive sensors. Each type of sensor is described in terms of physical principles. In thesis there are listed examples of using different types of practice. Preparation was constructed to demonstration the characteristics and differences between eddy currents sensors and inductive oscillator sensors.
Using the infrared camera in the measuring technique
Bayer, Robert ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to get acquainted with contactless methods of measuring a temperature and give the reader an idea of it. Next goal is to master the working with IR visual display terminal FLUKE Ti55FT (and program equipment SmartView) a describe it to the reader too. Last goal is to translate the booklet "Introdution to Thermography Principles", published by FLUKE company, which will be enclosed in electronic form to the thesis in the appendix.
Thermal conductivity measurements
Krejčí, Jakub ; Bejček, Ludvík (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with non-stationary thermal conductivity measurement using line and point heat source. There are compared various methods thermal conductivity measurement and designed own correction for pulse duration. The practical part describes created exemplar for laboratory exercises including achieved results and comparing with simulations.
Thermal imagers in technical diagnosis
Haltuf, Martin ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
In this thesis is dealed the technical term diagnostic with Fluke Ti55 thermo imager. In the introduction of description is analyzed noncontact temperature measurement including principle, uncertainties measurement and measurement system. In other parts of the work is focused on thermal imaging, termogram, description Fluke Ti55 termo imager and measurement of mechanical stress. The concluding part of the description and processing of measurements, including their evaluation.
Inductive sensor
Koleček, Tomáš ; Bejček, Ludvík (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with indukčnostního-loaded impedance sensor, which is used for non-destructive materials testing. Describes a procedure for measuring the eddy current method using a straight coil. This thesis includes the final locus corresponding literature ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic for the measured material. The last part deals with the analysis of the appropriate choice of operating point derived from the sensor readings.
Contactless temperature measurement
Závodný, Ondřej ; Bejček, Ludvík (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis I outlined the problems of non-contact measurement and practical verification of the basic parameters thermo camera Fluke Ti20. It is especially on the experimental measurement of the source of the reference temperature and the product to demonstrate the impact of emissivity. The aim of this work is a practical verification thermo cameras parameters, the determination of uncertainties and to explore the effects of parasitic repeated measurements. The basic part is a brief recorded history, the general relations and principles of the non-contact measurement, as well as their own use and typical parameters. In the next chapter you more acquainted with itself thermo camera, properties and basic parameters. The practical part is about the measurement itself. The main objective then was to verify the accuracy of reported thermo camera and examining the impact of emissivity.
Measurement of basic parameters of gas filters
Medek, Pavel ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with establishment of parameters of the PPI filter material using methods of image analysis. The first part is aimed at general methods used in practice, an overview of splitting into filter clasification and characterization of the PPI filter material. The second part represents an introduction to problems of machine vision. There are outlined basic methods of image processing. Last parts of the thesis study the method using detection of bright light levels. The measurement and interpretation of results is performed with the PPI material - types 10/6 and 10/12. For image processing is used the MATLAB program, version 7.0.1.
Workplace of flow and pressure measurement
Brabenec, Jiří ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
The thesis deals with formation of a workplace for preparation gaseous mixtures and their future usage. The main goal of the thesis is testing of new materials which have suitable usage as catalysts. Gaseous mixture is prepared by calorimetric mass flow meters with control valve and multiposition microelectric valve actuators. The next part describes measuring of pressure and temperature and controlling of furnace temperature. The thesis deals with specifications of all devices, their circuitry, communication and program controlling. All devices are controlled by computer with program which is programmed in LabVIEW.
