Fabrication of nanostructures on graphite/graphene layers and measurement its transport properties at room temperature
Hrabovský, Miloš ; Urbánek, Michal (referee) ; Bartošík, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is dedicated to fabrication of graphite/graphene layers and measurement of their transport properties. Graphene flakes were deposited by mechanical exfoliation. For contacting graphene flakes was used electron beam lithography and were observed using optical microscopy and atomic force microscopy. The thesis describes the steps for the production, observation and measurement of deposited graphene flakes. Results, problems and solutions of these problems are given in the experimental work.
Semiconductor nanowire growth modelling
Kovács, Roland ; Bartošík, Miroslav (referee) ; Kolíbal, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with modelling of semiconductor nanowires growth. The work describes the mechanism of growth using the VLS method. The main objective is to simulate the distribution of eutectic material in a droplet in the initial stage of growth. Mathematical models describing different situations of material diffusion in the droplet were depeloped. The simulation model is programmed in MATLAB.
Study of a selective growth of metals on matrix prepared by AFM nanolithography
Konečný, Martin ; Mach, Jindřich (referee) ; Bartošík, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on fabrication of nanostructures with usage of atomic force microscope. The theoretical part refers to basic principles of atomic force microscope and to physical principle of local anodic oxidation. The experimental part is focused on analysis of nanostructures created by local anodic oxidation, measuring of surface potential on prepared nanostructures and on selective growth of metals on matrix prepared by local anodic oxidation.
Fabrication of Nanostructures Using Atomic Force Microscopy
Doupal, Antonín ; Škoda, David (referee) ; Bartošík, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with fabrication of nanostructures using atomic force microscopy. The theoretical part gives a brief introduction into atomic force microscopy and local anodic oxidation and it is based on literature retrieval. The experimental part is concentrated on investigation of influence of operational parameters (tip-sample voltage, speed of the tip) on dimensions of LAO nanostructures on Si(111). Further the selective growth of cobalt and gallium on such oxide nanostructures is observed and analysed.
